Sometimes, I'll go to a map I've marked to PM me on comment, and there will be comments I didn't get PM's about! This feature only works half of the time.
I didn't know there was such a thing, how do you use it?

Oh, right, I thought it was a bit different than the last time around. But i won't reload the page 13337 times to see it again.

In your map, there should be a "PM on comment" flag near the "Allow Ratings" and "Allow Upload" flags.

Right. I thought you were able to do it on all maps, not just the ones you have posted. Already knew about this, had just forgot about it. Well, thanks anyway!

Something like that would be better used like the track thread feature. In fact, perhaps a future feature? Track thread ability for map comment pages?

It would be very useful.

I still think we should have a visuals vault for textures and models, ect.
But I guess it's not possible for a small site paid for by a single person.

Hmm I think I recall that suggested at some point. I think it was shot down due to the work needed to implement it, and the fact that this is a mapping site.

I'm not entirely certain though, so don't quote me on that.

Probably.
But it's also a modding site. I think it's just because of the bandwith and storage space required for it, plus spammers could put anything on there.

Well spammers can put anything they want on the map vault too.

Edit: and journals, and forums...

Yeah, but then people download it instantly and find that it's not a map or journal or forum post.

I just noticed that neither AIM nor Steam screen names show up on profiles. Has this been addressed yet?

The timezone setting resets when you log out.

The times I see are an hour off, and I have neither changed user settings in TWHL nor any clocks I have. Is that related?
Posted 14 years ago2009-11-01 10:04:23 UTC Post #275060
No, you're probably just an hour off GMT.
EDIT: Or it's because of Daylight savings, I think the problem fixed itself for me... :/

I don't know. Now TWHL times are back in sync with my computer clock, which hasn't changed at all.

It must be daylight savings, and only resets during half of the year or something.
