And I still think links should open new windows. I think it used to, or I'm used to other forums, but I keep forgetting it's the same window and end up closing it.

At least make it a profile option for it to be a new window, same window, or new tab.

1. not needed and they wouldn't be 'recent posts' if we missed some of the recent ones out.
2. definitely not. if they want to contact the MV mods, they can use the 'contact us' page.
3. already there.
4. links shouldn't be bigger, and the brown doesn't suit the new colour scheme.

luke: I'd love for links to open in new windows, but I can't. Blame Ant, if anyone, for making TWHL XHTML strict, and not transitional.

You can just hit CTRL before clicking a link, and in Firefox it pops into a new tab.

And With the PM thingy. I'm having a hard time telling which PM has been viewd, replied to, or is new.

your resolution has nothing to do with it. open the image in photoshop or something that will tell you the RGB values of the backgrounds of the rows of the list.

Maybe you all could look at this and see if someone else besides me can't see the color difference?! I'm seriously worried something is wrong... maybe my screen is dying lawl.

I don't know about you but i can see those lines clearly. But if other people have a problem with it, it's not difficult to change at all.

leaving it as it is. if a user wants a new window, they can middle-click the link. but there is no way to force it to not open in a new window, and that is annoying.
Penguinboy PenguinboyHaha, I died again!

Forcing a new window removes user control and should be avoided.
I bet someone really smart said that, listen to him/her.

Well i can see them now. Maybe it was just a bit too subtle to pick-up without knowing it was there.

If that makes any sense, I don't know.

I guess it's not a bug, but still.

I think it should be more obvious when your PM box is full.

Mine has been full for a little while now and I didn't notice until I was about to compose a PM and it said "you are not allowed to compose a PM until you empty your PM box" or something like that.

There should be something similar to old TWHL when that red thing poped up on the high edge of the screen saying "it's full, clean it up".
Cuz, I don't really count my PMs, and I don't think anybody else does either.

I think that it should bring you to the first one. But, there should be also a link that brings you to the last post.

I agree with luke, but both would be cool if it was done in a straightforward way.

You do realise there's a little arrow that takes you to the latest post, right?

Perhaps it should be more noticable.. but a link is definately there.

Ant/Penguinboy:
You're were right! A long time back I adjusted my contrast/brightness/gamma gfx card settings to and that was the whole problem! (setting back to defaults make those pm highlights clear as my stupidity!)

I'm sorry for causing the debacle and dramatizing that I was going blind!

Please allow me to attempt to pwn myself with this hastily created anti-award:

Reading through Luke's comment i assumed that there is none. And didn't check it myself. Sorry.
The arrow is perfectly visible, no need to make it more noticeable.

I'm not so sure myself, we've had a few people comment on them before with TWHL2, and the TWHL3 one isn't much better. I'll discuss it with the others.

No no no.

When looking at the FORUMS list, like site suggestions / general discussion / etc. When you click on the name of the thread under the forum name, it brings you to the first post.

When I search for things on the forums etc. It shows entries on Admin only threads. I don't know if it was like this on the old TWHL but it's kind of annoying going into a likely looking thread, then being told that I'm not authorised to view them.

I dunno, i love this feature for PMs, it saves me 20 edits and waiting for TWHL to load, which leads me to my next suggestion which really isn't a bug, but a trouble just the same:

I think this has been mentioned and quashed, but I think it would be great to create a paypal account with a goal to meet for more bandwith... this site loads so slow, the interpolice will pull you over = ) (it's better than ads too imo)

I'll donate, and i'm sure others would too. you could choose to do so anonymously or creditied, even give a little commendation for sponsors, but I'm not sure. you could use extra funds for compo gifts lawl.

ok i'll shut it now = )
