Really, what is it? there are alot of CoD games.
Personally i like World at War, it has a great ending, and (although ive only played the Ipod Touch version) the Zombies game mode adds a nice finish. [I have the Wii version, which has no Zombies, but i also have the Ipod Touch version, and i purchased Verruckt, which is awesome.]

I've only played Modern Warfare and MW2.
Modern Warfare 1 was better.

I liked MW2 Ending and its the best cod game so far so that 1.

The original Call of Duty. Kicked ass in the day.

Played all except for World at War, and I have little interest in replaying most of them because they're rehashes of previous game(s).

Call of Duty 2 would probably be my favourite. 3 and World at War were pretty rubbish (comparatively), and Modern Warfare 2 was a sellout. 1, 2, and 4 are excellent, though. Black Ops will suck, and so will every other CoD game from now on, now that Infinity Ward is dead. Looking forward to seeing what Respawn's first project will be.

I've only ever played COD4, and very little of it.

CoD1 and 2 are the best.

CoD4 was graphically impressive, though the campaign is far too short and the multiplayer is outdone by Bad Company 2.

My favorite Call of duty game was the one you play as Gordon Freeman. The game was called something different though and was made by different people.

Would have to agree on CoD1 and 2. They were outstanding at the time. 4 was also superb and pretty much blew me away when it came. MW2 was just more of the same from 4 -- not bad, really, just nothing new at all. Only tried the multiplayer on 1, 2 and 4 and the multiplayer segments of all of them are superb.

I only ever played WaW MW1 and MW2. I never owned WaW OR MW1, so considering MW2 is just MW1+ and I didn't ever pay for MW1... I'm going to have to say I like MW2.

I'm surprised no one noticed i spelled Favorite wrong.

Might have been a way to bypass both american and british spelling obsessives.

I've only ever played CoD1, Modern Warfare, World at War and Modern Warfare 2. In terms of the singleplayer campaign, I'd say that 1 is the best, followed by MW1, Waw, then MW2. Multiplayer, I'd say 1, MW2, MW1, then WaW.

I actually prefer MW1 and 2.
I know I had more fun playing them for the first time than I had playing any of the other games. And Im a big fan of unlocks and achivements, which is why I prefer the multiplayer of MW1 and 2. I didn't play cod1 or 2 mp very much since I by that time prefered BF2...because it had unlocks.
CoD5 was shit. Never played CoD3 since it was only released on consoles

OK, here is my full review of the games Ive had, past and present. I first got Cod2: Big Red One, for the original xbox, don't remember much from it. Then, I received CoD:3 and CoD:WaW for the wii on Christmas. I like Cod:3's storyline, and its game play is fun at times, WaW i mainly liked for its awesome end battles, big explosions, and lots of blood. Then, my step father showed me CoD: MW1, and i loved the visuals in it, then, Ive only played MW2's multiplayer, which was kick ass! i love getting care packages.Then i got CoD:WaW:Zombies for my Ipod Touch, and i mean, its kick ass, the very first game i played we got to the 40th round before getting screwed in the arse.(i went down with a trench gun and flamethrower.) And, Zombies is the only reason i want WaW for the PC too, ya know, zombies are f-ing awesome.
