Lol if only that were true. Is there any easier way to find a leak? I am assuming that my problem is a leak because everything is on fullbright. I dont understand how though because I made a big box (Not a Sky) around the level and hollowed it out and it didn't work!!! Please Help!!!

is it an entity? anything that connects to the outside (the black void) that is an entity will be a big leak check for that

The big box method (whether it's textured with sky or not) is just a very bad way to fix leaks. Unnecessary high amounts of faces (those on the outside of the level and inside of the large box) have to be compiled then, wich is just senseless extra work. Find the leak and fix it good.

Either your box was an entity or you had an entity outside the box.

Find the leak? Have you tried the pointfile method already?

what do you mean fullbright, if its that your lighting isn't applying to anything and its as if RAD.exe isn't doing anything then I had that problem too. If thats the case check the build programs diolog and make sure the RAD program is not VIS. somehow it changed HLRAD.exe to HLVIS.exe.

First HLVIS, then HLRAD. How did it change RAD to VIS suddenly, M_gargantua?

no clue but i tried editing the lighting in my map when it started happening, i eventually checked the build programs and found that the VIS and RAD slots were occupied by the VIS program

Well If you do not have a leak then make sure you have a box around your level as a sky, and make sure you have lights in your level-no lights cause it also to go on fullbright.
