your saying that the vis comiling takes HOURS !

man that sucks , ive only got to lights on my map for now and i just want to see what it looks like, any ideas what i should so please.

Vis takes hours if you have a large complicated map - If its small, VIS takes a few seconds.

its not small like iceworld, but its not big like aztec.

so a few minutes im guessing by your calculations.

Aztec is a very complicated level. I'd say aztec took a few hours give or take a few minutes.

Vis usually only takes hours when you have some kind of error, like Leaf portal saw into blah blah blah etc.

VIS never really takes longer than 5, 10 minutes on my comp. Then again, I use to make entities of complex geometry and small brushes/cilinders/stuff, so the leafs VIS has to create get a lot less and more simple... :)

A bit of technical knowledge can serve you well...
