How do you remove those yellowish thingies that revovles around a monster... or furthermore, what is it? I made a headcrab on top of a box and when I play it, a flies-like yellow stuff circles him. I thought it was a sprite at first but then it was a little 3d... what do you guys think? :

The monster_headcrab is probably stuck in a wall... these yellow particles are especially meant to warn you for such things.

That is the HL engine showing you that the monster is placed too close to a wall or inside the floor, or too close too any world brush really.

ive already came up with that idea but i thought it wasnt that coz if my crab was stuck, he couldnt have jumped out and took away my 5 life... i was about to send a pic lol ...I was just trying to hide him from freeman! thanks guys

One problem I've noticed with placing headcrabs on boxes is, you get the yellow things if part of the crab is over the edge of the box (in the top view). Keep him away from the edge and it should fix the problem.

I always put my monster entities about 6 units above the surface of the object they are standing on to avoid this. Arent I clever?
