How can I put an already dead alien (in this case, Alien Slave) on my map on Valve Hammer Editor?

It's been a long time for me, but can't u use a cycler or cycler_sprite or whatever, and den choose the death animation for the slave?

One method is to place a trigger hurt around the monster. Then, make sure it's set to be deactivated by the monster's death.

Can't you use a scripted_sequence?

If I recall, monsters just jump right back up if you trigger a death animation.

I'm pretty sure there's a way to do it without this problem, I should check.

Another solution using cycler_sprite]cycler_sprite.

Use smartedit button to add
sequence
property to the cycler_sprite, with the 4 death animations being 18-21.

fun fact
You can use the slave model with cycler_weapon, carrying him around like a crowbar :)

Using cycler_sprite for models causes them to disappear from map after loading a saved game. So it's not really good solution (for singleplayer maps at least).
