i have made many tanks mapping but i just wanted to ask for some sounds names that would go good with my tank -its a machine gun and i was also hoping that someone could give me the name of the sprite of mp5 shells,,,(the model name)..i would just view em but my hl isnt installed correctly so i cant -thx a lot in advanced

cant anyone help>???

It ain't a sprite. shell.mdl is the shell model that comes from the guns.

biggun2, biggun, rifle and rifle2 are some wav names (I think) that are gun sounds. If your HL isn't installed properly, find the CDs or Steam and reinstall...bad installations can affect game stability and operativity (that even a word?)

yea and than in parenthesis i wrote model name cuz i wasnt sure but thx a lot man! woohoo my guns make sounds

I often use Half-Life Model Viewer to search the sounds in the .pak files. Might be handy for you too...

I assume by this he means his PAKs aren't installed correctly too, which is why he was asking for filenames.

yea ive tryed to view them but they arent in the pak i cant find them anywhere, and when i try to reinstall half life, my comp with half life doesnt have internet so i cant upgrade it... back in the old days when i was real young i always had cs and every mod you could possibly think of and i played every day but now my comp is so screwed up i cant even play hl online wtf ???

Time to fix some things on your computer first I guess then... format C and reinstall perhaps?

Get a new comp if it's so screwed up?
