Is it in any way possible to have two scientists talking at the same time? I use custom sounds you see and i record the entire conversation for one guy and then the other in one file. please help.

Uhm, just use two scripted_sentences for two scientists?

Of course!
Add the two sounds to the sentences.txt and give each sci a scripted_sentence. Trigger them at the same time and they'll start talking.

He's only using one sound file though, that has the whole conversation in.

I dont think it's possible - since when you trigger the first guy to start talking with that sound file, he'll say the whole thing. You need to make seperate sound files for each sentance and trigger each one using a multimanager, swapping between each guy with each sentance. It's a lot of work, and you have to time it all right aswell, but it's the only way really.

Use some forma decent editing tool (I recommend Sound Forge 6, get it from some old mirror or p2p) and mute out one guy, then save, unmute him and mute the other, and save again. Voila, two halves :)

It would need to be timed even more perfectly for that to work right, but you do have a point.

No it wouldn't. If you mute only those bits, and play the WAVs simultaneously...

It would be easier to record the sentances one at a time really wouldn't it. Ok cheers guys. ;)
