I want to make monstermakers that create 1 monster, but after that monster is spawned, it cant spawn another monster again until the group of monsters is killed. I know this probably has to do with triggers, but I would rather ask here before doing this on my own and screwing things up.

Theres going to be about 5 or 10 rounds of monsters that I need. How would I make the death of a monster trigger its own monstermaker to temporarily turn off until all the monsters are killed?

never tried but i think it has something to do with a counter or multi_source.....dang i will have to try that

Why not use multiple monstermakers, one for each wave? You don't have to use only one monstermaker...

Hes not. Hes my brother and he is using multiple monster makers. I figured he could make it so all of the Monster Makers would trigger a multisource and the that triggers a multi manager that triggers all of the next monster makers. And so on. But i dont know if once the monsters are spawned itl trigger the multi source or if once the monsters die, itl trigger the multisource. :confused:

You could target a game_counter when a monster dies, and trigger something once it has reached a certain value (e.g. when all monsters of a wave are dead, the next monstermaker is triggered).

Just try out...

I've done this a long while ago and it works perfect, it may require some experimenting with the monstermakers settings though.

What If my map has a button, that, when I activate it, it will start the monstermaking sequence. Then when I press it again, it stops the monster making sequece. Then I press it again, and so on, and so on.

How's that possible? :

If there's a toggle flag on the monstermaker, check it. If not, try checking the toggle flag on the button itself.
