I made a custom wad for my own decals. I created the image, made it greyscale, added it to wally and even put the blood red colour in the bottom right of the palette. Saved, spashed it onto a wall but i can't see it. GRRRR!

Afaik there can only be one decals.wad. You might want to try backing up the default valve decals.wad and replacing it with yours, or making a minimod to test your decals.

Perhaps you could add your decals to the original 'decals.wad'.

Yes, thats the only option.

Maybe it's invalid for some reason. Did you try putting it in the logos directory first? Did it show up when you went to multiplayer>customize ?

i read sumwer that decals can sumtimes appear in hammer but not in the compiled version read the tut or sumthing cause i remember reading it there :
