ok i was wondering if ther are tutorials on everything to do with mapping besides coding (har har) coz i want to make sure

but ther is one thing how do u get lasers to destroy a carcass like the barney on hl who body splits in 2 lol

Set up the two models (upper half, lower half of Barney) and make a func_breakable in between the two models. exture it so that it looks close enough to the rest of Barney as you see fit. Then set the gibs to flesh and have your laser run through it. Tada! I haven't tested this but it seem too logical to not work.

Acually, I think the laser hits the first barney model (plain dead one) and then it gets teleported away while scripted_seqs targeting the 2 other barney models teleport in the upper and lower half.

seems difficult?

I dunno, setting up a simple func_breakable seems much easier ya know?

Yes, but texturing it like Barney seems like the hard part .

As to habboi's post, not everything is covered and not everything needs to be covered. Once you get a bit more experience you're likely to find out things on your own.
