OK well first off, do you have a leak?(does every texture appear bright or just the light textures)
and second>
Are you useing a Lights.rad file?

That looks suspiciously like the Qtools. Get ZHLT, unless I'm mistaken.

It's both. More common in Q-Tools though.

Hy all, ufzero here!
My question is that how can I have my map lit with a certain light level everywhere? I mean I don't want shadows, and stuff like that, just want the map to be bright everywhere without lights. Is that possible? Pleeeeez help!

yeah, dont run rad or put in a leak :P

And the other thing:
Why can't I run my maps from the original hl? I have hammer v3.4. From where do hl open multimaps? It is hlvalvemaps folder, isn't it?
Posted 20 years ago2004-09-24 14:39:03 UTC Post #61697
umm... i think this is what you want:
type "map mapname" in the hl console (without the "'s and mapname = the name of the map you want to run)

whats a multimap?

and if you're not using steam, i believe you can find the map names in your pak folder.

i'm really not sure though if that is what you wanted to know...

:)
I'm hungarian, you know...
Multimap means a map, which can be used in multiplayer...
I wanted to know if it is possible to have my map lit without any lights... :)

Do not put a leak in your map to make it fullbright.

I tried to run my map without RAD but when hammer finishes compiling and it's just about to run it, HL quits... :
