I am working on a crusher and I am using func_door entites. I don't just want to have the two crusher pieces moving in mid air. I want them to be held up by a hydraulic piece or something. How do I connect two brushes or make it apear that they are connected? (To see what I'm talking bout d-load Black Mesa Waste Storage Facil under unfinished)

make two doors be triggered at the same time or just make it one door.

Tie it to one entity, yeah. Brushes in an entity don't need to be in contact with each other.

I already have two doors triggered by one switch, i just want to make it look like the crusher is actually being moved by a pole or shaft or something so it doesn't look like the crusher is levitating. Heres what I mean_

What I want What I have

I don't want the crusher to just levitate up, I want it to appear that a shaft is pushing it. Are you suggesting that I make two func_doors that are perfectly time to make it appear that the shaft is pushing it?

Yes. That's about the only way you can do it unless you use Spirit. Another idea: Make the crusher and shaft a single func_door instead of two. Or do you need seperate properties? Otherwise, when you activated that single func_door, the whole thing moves.

The advice above is possible to do, but it sounds like it will be hard to get everything moving correctly. If this becomes too difficult using func_doors, it's possible that you will need to use func_trains as your crushers. Then each crusher and shaft will be all one piece and the movement will be controlled by path_corners.
