I have a custom wad file that I made with Wally, but any textures from that wad that I use are all see thru. i've screwed with the flags, but that doesn't make any difference.

all see through? no idea, but since were on the topic of WADS, remember that having more than 8 WADS being used in hammer can cause wierd problems.

See-through? Do you mean their blue areas are undrawn in-game?

No what i mean is where I place the texture you can see through the texture and through the wall its on. For example lets say I put The texture on the floor of the second story of a two story map, I can see through where the texture is, all the way to the othher floor.

Can you provide more information on the subject? A screenshot of what happens in-game, further information on the brush that the texture is applied to (is it an entity, what settings does it have then?) and perhaps a view on the texture itself?

What entity is it tied to, if any, and what are it's rendering properties? (RenderMode and FXamt)

Happened to me. turned out that it was a stupid prefab that i forgot to turn of. it was jsut a glass block and i ended up making a map out of seethrough walls lol. I would think thats the problem though.

I tried this but it failed everytime.

I make a Custom texture with a solid blue to be transparent, but when I make It in hammer it's not transparent I still got the blue in it... I follow the correct guidlines and make sure my blue is a solid blue, and yet it does'nt work, and it sucks, help me too :

you have to make teh texture as a bmp in a 256 colour pallette, teh invis colour is actually teh last colour in teh pallette, not neccasarily an actual blue.

The standard is pure blue (0 0 255). I have ones that are pink, white, you name it, just to fit in with the palette though.

The textures also need to be named {texturename with the little bracket in front.
