I think the reason no-one does is because you don't really win anything.

Other people likes it, I don't. I respect that, but it's not a reason for me to enter.
I'd rather map with themes or do fun stuff like the "build a machine" compo.
That was great.

We wanted to gauge the response to this compo before we organised prizes for the next one. Not sure if we'll give out prizes in the next one, but we do have ideas for 'em if we do.

Mmm, the temptation of prizes didn't seem to make much of a difference to the number of entrants this time, that or people just didn't like the compo idea.
