Does anyone know of the entity setup to make a combine energy ball (like the secondary fire of the overwatch rifle) that will fly freely and NOT explode.

Try decompiling the last level of HL2. See how they did it.

theirs isnt free flying though, I know how to do what they have there >_<

I dont have much experince with those energy balls, but that sounds like you might have to change some of the code for what you want :cry:

They will always degenerate after a certain time, unless they're held in those energy fields. No way around that.

What were you trying to achieve, then?
