I haven't mapped for about 6 months, so even though I boast superb mapping skills... it's collapsed far from what I used to be. I apologize for bragging.

My problem is this: in one of my single-player maps, when compiled and played straight from the editor, the G-man works fine and performs his actions. When played through Half-Life itself, the G-man seems to ignore his scripts and just stands there. None of my NPCs are doing their scripted_sequences ingame, only when compiled. What's causing this? A solution would really help me.

Moved.

Anyways - that's a pretty weird problem. Does your HL play scripted stuff at all?

EDIT: Heh, no need to delete stuff. The thread would've been moved eventually without any problems.. ;)

All I know is if your using a trigger_auto or any sort of trigger right at the start of the map it won't work.

I don't know the reason for this. Also, never check the box to play after the map is compiled because that screws up trigger_changelevels.

Yeah, it plays every other scripted level right.

Would this have something to do with me adding model support to my editor? I'm sure I have the old boundries not intersecting anything

Urbanebula: That might work, too. I'll try that tonight...

That made it work perfectly. Thanks, Urbanebula and Daubster.
