This article goes over the gun penetration statistics in Day of Defeat 1.0. It lists the thickness (in units) of a brush that each gun can shoot through. The information in this article is relevant as of the 1.0 release. It might change not only the way you make your maps, but also how you play the game.

Notes

OK, now that we've seen the values, there are some important notes to take into account. Knowing this, a player can statistically judge when to shoot through corners to get rid of that pesky MG you know the location of, but just can't take down. It also allows mappers to proof their map against problems like being shot through sandbags. I hope this information helps everyone out there.
