Probably the one downside to a family business, we don't have one person who gets paid to clean, one who gets paid to take inventory, unpack, customer service, etc etc. There is ALWAYS more work to do.

TjB i just laughed loudly on the bus and got weird looks. thanks very much! >:(
There are dedicated rendering machines but they're always being used by the editors. Also, with editing you can set a rough cut rendering then start tweaking while it's going. With After Effects you kinda need to see the render before you can tweak. It also requires regular RAM previews which take a looong time in 4:4:4 colour space.
Plus, if we started using dedicated rendering machines, we couldn't slack off.

I doubt there aren't solutions already implemented against this in other high-budget firms. They probably use editing "terminals", and then send the work to a rendering farm.

I'm excited more for Torchlight 2, Borderlands 2 just seems a bit overpriced to me, and the gameplay in the first one really wasn't that enjoyable I thought. Torchlight 2 is reasonably priced, it's modable, and the DLC probably won't cost $30 for a season pass in the future.

Also, the interesting point of the map (if at all interesting) is the floor. As some of you probably found out, some parts of the floor are actually func illusionary entities (that's why there are the 'danger' signs).

Sorry for the late reply guys.
Actually, the full brightness was done by adding many lights in a reduced area, and the red and blue lights are just done by changing the coloring and again adding many lights. They are to mark the spawn points, and was actually done to test how lighting worked. As I said, it's one of my first maps ever created, so it was done poorly.

I don't know about every corner but certainly any public library will have some and welcome him in.Maybe I shoulda said that before he left.
And Satch he's visiting the east coast. He asked if I'd like to drive over to New York to chill with Tetsuo and himself so unless he's booked one helluva trip... If only the US wasn't the size of half of a continent!

yeah see that's the problem, there's no fun getting killed by something you don't see (yet) and then spectate for a long while, just to do that again. Unless you do this on purpose to train your survival skills. Vanilla is casual

What do you mean, I think awp wars is a great idea, it's going to be a large open area with a ridiculous amount of cover, both teams will spawn on opposite sides of map, and slowly pick each other off with AWP's. Imagine 32 players on this big open map, it would be like battlefield with just snipers and deagles.

Played up until We've Got Hostiles.
This mod is so. damn. awesome. It's so true to Half-Life, but mixes it up in fun little ways that keep it fresh. I'm laughing and having a blast with this more than I would in most AAA titles.
my code only takes like... 30 seconds to compile and download to the hardware
There ARE cars!
Two on the T side, and one on the CT side.
I can do whatever I want until the emergency room pages me.
Add cars
What I'm trying is to get feedback from the community about the concept of the map; not the map in itself.
[EDIT]
BTW Lajron, have you tried the map at least?
I usually get paid to browse reddit because my code is compiling. Or so I say.

I have since installed VHE and I'm now back in action.
I know it needs a lot of improvements. It runs slowly on my Intel Dual Core @3.2GHz, even with only 7 bots.
Also, I'm trying to add more cover, and more details to the walls.
EDIT:
BTW Lajron, do you know where can I get a WAD containing useful textures for the theme?
A nice "storm at night" themed skybox would be nice too.

@Scotch What meant to say by 'disregard the fact...' is because on other forums and sites I visited, most users HATE aim maps. I prefer them for quick encounters at the local internet café.

Probably won't get a lot of time to go on twhl, since it's going to be freshman's week and all.
It's the god damn US. You'll probably find a public computer on every corner.
So, the worst possible game of Battlefield ever?
I am in Los Angeles.
Also, good luck!
Well I'll consider something else too.
Over and out.
It's so beautiful.

Way to go, BM team.
