@Ansith: You sure about that?

@Worldcraft20: Your map was actually pretty decent for a first map...at least, better than my attempt, which looked like crap. One thing I suggest is to make the buttons a lot smaller, and maybe add a little more architecture. I'm not an expert on mapping, so I really can't say much more.

One thing though is that the shot from the Monster House movie in the elevator felt out of place. Would've looked better in the office or hallway.

I'd recommend expanding on this map. Make the rooms a bit less cramped, minimize some things a bit, add some more sections.

I remember posting a link to this mod in the forum several months ago, but nobody looked at it. Still an awesome mod through and through.

It was okay. I get easily frusterated so it took me several tries to do the first, second, and fourth puzzles. Personally I found the Barnacle Maze the easiest because I was able to slide around slowly.

On the "Leap of Faith" I actually thought I had to jump all that distance. =D

Hey, Ansith, I forgot to ask...

Have you ever thought about connecting your "pre-disaster labs" map to B-105? I personally felt the two maps fit pretty well.

I like it. Kinda reminds me of Scientist Slaughterhouse, only with headcrabs.

Thanks. The radios were just simple textured brushes (actually one that was clipped for multiple texturing,) and the middle brush was a func_button that turned an ambient_generic on and off. The little robots were an experiment with func_trains.

Ansith, if you haven't fixed the sitting scis (and for future reference) I suggest you read this: http://www.gamedesign.net/node/3

I think the main thing you're doing is setting the clip brush above the seat too low, since if you didn't have a clip brush the scis would be stuck in the floor. Try setting the clip brush 16 units above the seat, then positioning the sci entity's little x on that clip brush. That should work.
