Wow thanks guys! I can't believe people are still playing this 6 years after release!! I am ashamed of some of the game-stopping bugs still existent in the game, though.
@Captain Terror: There are two sets of tripmines. Neither of which you need a box for... in fact, I am pretty sure a lip on the floor prevents you from bringing it over anyway. Also, before you can even get PASSED the tripmines, you must first pass through the church. If you haven't gotten THERE yet, do so first. To get to the church, you DO need the box (to get up and jump through the broken window over a rusted door nearby.)
Anywho... after you go through the church and come back again...
To get past the first set of tripmines, simply jump+duck over them. They are easily clearable by running then jumping+ducking over them.
To get over the second set of Tripmines, you will need the Bible (aka the remodeled and skinned satchel). The Satchel is being protected by 3 ceiling-mounted tentacles.
@jayne cobb: Yes it is difficult. It has too steep of a learning curve among other things. Thank you for playing! I am working on a new mod this summer based on the HL2E2 engine, and hope to re-make dungeon death someday with all of my knowledge learned over the years...

Sweet! How would you rate the game?
(I cant WAIT to replay some Oblivion on my new computer) ...... not like on my old computer... 1066x600 with no AA, no HDR, all settings on med/low/off and a couple high.

Thank you very much, Tetsu0 and Satchmo. I will do my best with the drawings, and probably supply some of my other "art" as a part of compensation.
satchmo: I was SO tempted to get that Wolfdale chip on Newegg... it has really good reviews and is a step up from my E6600 Conroe chip, but I just can't do the extra money right now.... and my ram is 5-5-5-16 or -18 I don't remember, but it's alright, nothing special. with my 32 bit Windows Vista, more than 4GB I'm pretty sure would be overkill.... doesn't 32-bit systems only read up to like 3.25 GB's of memory or something?
Anyway, thanks again for your guys' input over the years (I'm lookin' at you, Satchmo).
Time to stop making average maps and really put my efforts into high quality inventive mapping!

I'm gonna make this short and sweet: Lots of fun! Like you said though... it is incomplete.
The green key does not work with the green door. I had to noclip through it to press the button behind it. And the red button is obviously not scripted yet, as it does not function either. I love the room with the "appearing" floor. While I like how it splits off into two directions, it is possible to never find the "other" direction if the user doesnt think about it. Maybe try and force the user to find the alternate route within that room before he can leave. I actually only found it by accident while noclipping around to see if I had missed anything after I felt I had found the end of what you had mapped. I liked the room with the Alien Controllers and the breakable shields you can hide behind.
The only other critique I can think of off the top of my head is that you could add some detail in to some of the rooms to set them apart from the others... fallen debris in a corner, or, a lit torch on a side of a wall, a painting... something
Lots of fun! Continue to work on this nice little puzzle!!

Very well done indeed, hotdog! Puts my little entry to shame! the only part I would critique is the end lava area with the chest. All very well done, except you can kinda get permanently stuck if you end up in the wrong are with the chest. I completed everything in that area, turned on the water, got the chest, and when I touched the lava, I was transported to the middle of the map, where I couldn't go anywhere. A simple noclip bypassed that part to finish the level, and other than that, I really liked the puzzles, and finding mario coins... I think I found all but 2 or three. You actually did some stuff I didn't know you could do. the disabling of the rope while you had the chest was a nice touch. Great puzzles and looked really good. Congratulations on this wonderful map!!

I had forgotten to include the sprites in the zip, so, if you didn't have them, the game would crash upon loading the dt_3.bsp
Have fun gang! email me with any inquiries about the game.
