That stuff would be nice given I had the means to do it, and the money. I was thinking of backing it all up on my new 250gb iomega drive. At least things are looking up.

Didn't think about putting it in HL... I might have to clean it up first. The texture map for it is quite sloppy since I didn't take the extra step to remap the baking coordinates. That is a great idea though!

I was the senior art director, I did $15,000 worth of work. The two higher ups made some retarded decisions and this elite group broke up and was absorbed into other companies.
Don't get me wrong, I let my boss know what could have done differently. He made the most newbie mistake there is. He didn't have it in writing. (yes that's right)So we lost our office in Tampa. We tried to sue, but got counter-sued and boned huge for it. Another newbie mistake was that he signed my papers, but was lazy and give me paperwork for me to sign.
So what happened to the $15,000 work I did for him? Reformat.
That's what you get for being a moron. But I Still need a job to make ends meet. I thought I wrote a journal about this already but I didn't.
If I had made some serious cash, I'm sure I'd write a journal about that too. I learned a shit-ton (imagine a ton of shit... yeah you sick fuck) of valuable experience and knowledge from the guy. He was born into wealthy business so he didn't understand some of the basics. I learned that the industry is BORING! That's why people get so good at one thing because that is all they do. Imagine my texturing skills in 10 years. Either way I wouldn't mind being bored and being paid. I can always do stuff in my spare time.
If the surface below a player or model is null or bevel, the view model will turn black. All of this is correct except you cannot bevel or null the ramp underneath. I'm sure it is different for Source. Goldsource models sample their lighting from the surface beneath them.
I did this on Sancefar, when the player goes on the stairs they turn black.

Daubster was a hero and made a template, I also learned a bit from that to further modify some things, that is why the code is so clean.
I use Dreamweaver to put things together, but most of the time I'm in the code part of it. Dreamweaver allows me to view things in real time, and if I change something, it will update all external files for me.

I'm thinking more along the lines of the micro patches. Those really add up to change the game/gameplay quite a big. As well as simple tools to add them.

I find the pixel-by-pixel stuff easy. My biggest problem is not having enough colors to really finesse things. 16 colors max sucks.
Photoshop mostly. To get it in Mario World, there is an editor call YY-CHR which deals with the proper format and pallettes. To paste it to there, I save it as an 8bit image from Photoshop then open it in MSPaint and copy-paste from there. Photoshop pastes glitched crap because of extra data attached. That's mostly it.

You guys are so much more level with me though, and I realize I don't miss that "zOMG FUcKING AAAWESOME headsplode" comments. Although they are very confirming, the "if you added some windows it would allow some natural light to come in and light things more interestingly." comments are useful. (I rarely update my maps, but I remember such tips and emplore them in other things or the next map )

Friggin crazy, but I have no idea what it would play like. I imagine it would be like Utopium, which is sparse and platformy... which plays pretty good by my standards.
Everything is good. Nice use of NS textues. Lighting could be better but multiplayer maps SHOULD be well-lit. Nice color choices, its nice.

all related content is being released, the max files, fruity loops files, photoshop files, everything as well as the compiled models, the mod folder, and the MP3s. Not daubster's code though, I have an old backup that's out dated. Its up to him to do something with it.
I suppose once this is all posted, I should notify ModDB...

If only HL modding was as awesome as that.
