I followed this to the T but i had a few issues: 1) When i tried to freeze my geometry, it crashed my XSI and gave me a mass of gibberish chinese text. I tried reinstalling but that didnt work, so i just made a barrel and exported per the rest of the instructions. Worked fine except: 2)I am doing a model for HL2:EP2. I have my texture; barrel.png in the models folder, but when i load into hammer/game i get the checkerboard texture. I dont get any compile errors, and half life isnt giving me any errors in console relating missing texture... Any idea as to what i can be doing wrong?
Fantastic tutorial nonetheless. Best one i've followed!!

I tried playing like that with GTA 3 years back. It's actually surprisingly difficult to do that. Especially when the common folk seem to disobey the lays anyway.

That's the thing about "something normal" its really the whole aspect of how you can do ANYTHING YOU WANT with it. I think it's a great video satchmo. Def cleared up some answers for me.

yeah. but its mainly for people who can just build and build and build and build and not get pissed off by the random AI blowing your shit up. Its fun, i try to play every update in a new world, but its always the same - spwan, get wood, get coal, make torches, digdigdigdigdig for diamond... now what.
Then you spend another few hours hording iron to make minecraft paths between all your mines and your home base. Then you get killed and pissed off and you start over.

yeah i've spent well over 7 grand on musical equipment. 3.2 of which was just ONE guitar. Not to mention costs of gigging, cables, pics, microphones, merch, studio costs, CD costs.. ect ect.

merry Christmas!! I got a 32" HD 1080p TV but its too big to fit on my TV stand so its hooked up to my computer right now. Also got the angels and demons DVD and a nice snowboarding jacket from my brother.
You can do it with a 555 timer and a basic BJT.
Use a potentiometer to modulate the pulses thru the 555, and have that output to the base-leg of a BJT.
done =]
Tell me THAT's not a recipe for disaster
Walked thru a screen door that night.
Twice.

I'll enjoy it (probably)
And I'll end my day with a beer.
Close though
i think the 30g will be fine if you're JUST using it to boot windows.

I'm probably into the 10K+ range.
Since 2005
map #2 needed a crapload more work. But i polished what i had.
And lol the boat - yeah.
Its extremely unpolished, and will remain so. This project is finished. It was a great learning experience so expect more like this in the future
