I know a similar case and it turned out alright after a few years, but just to be safe

hate me if you want but:
stop vaccinating her, or at least carefully study the composition. I dont know how anyone could inject mercury or formaldehyde into their kid
make sure she drinks clean water without fluoride
make sure she eats healthy, organic food, avoid animal products
make sure she doesnt spend time and especially sleep near sources of wi-fi or cellphone signals

again hate me, but theres nothing to lose

try swapping parts from another PC, one by one, for example take ram from another PC. Or take out the GPU completely and try to boot on integrated graphics

i do doubt it. I think it happens very fast. There's countless stories of small kids being perfectly healthy, able to walk and say a few words who lost all of it after a certain vaccine. And for antidepressants, I think its better to be an alcoholic and a chain smoker than an addict of antidepressants/anxiety drugs. But well you said your stuff and I said mine, i quit here

in the modern society, where water is poisoned with fluoride, air and food hardly meets it's definitions, vaccines containing mercury and all kinds of bullshit around us, dont expect to be healthy or your children to be so. You know what to do. Whether it's conscious genocide or stupidity incarnated, its time to think about your function in this machine

I think you are overthinking stuff. Just choose one thing and do it. Pure determination or so they call it? I have noticed that the biggest cure to depression is to kick your own ass and do whatever you dream about. That is not easy and everyone finds the strength in different places but I tell you, once you get on the road you won't regret it. There's lots of discouraging and distraction these days, don't let that affect you.

I think performance issues are caused not by framerate but by the flickering lights which HL has problems rendering correctly. Also you forgot skybox. Beautiful map other than that.

The beam puzzle was really awesome. Ambience was great too. Although for me the framerate was terrible at some parts most likely because of flickering lights. I played on linux HL, not sure if all versions of HL act the same. Also found some shortcuts. But it was very much fun.

just the vertex mode. Youll never make intricate stuff with generators. As for those gothic domes, its just two cylinders passing through each other

Nice small map. Liked how you kept the visual complexity of original levels. Most mappers would be afraid to do something like this. Was fun indeed

Like I said, make sure you compile with VIS -full and remove all animated lights, make the trucks func_wall or func_detail. As for lighting, use diffrrent shapes, sizes, placements and colors of lights.
Commented 6 years ago2018-04-19 19:35:19 UTC in vault item: tesis5x Comment #21326
w_poly reaches 2000, did you compile with fast VIS? Compile with VIS -full. Also same problem as with your previous map, an animated light is causing extreme fps drops. Other than that nice geometry but texturing and lighting are a bit repetitive.

Nicely made, I liked how I was able to sneak past the grunts. Thankfully they are deaf from all the decades of battling players and did not hear me break the door glass. I almost sneaked past the alien grunt too but then his buddy came. If this is your first map, it's very well made. Loved the dramatic ending too.

All lights that have an appearance/effect rather than being static tend to cause these stutters. Not sure why it happens but it's better to avoid it. Usually the stutters occur when you look at the direction where it is. You can PM me with a version without flickering lights and I'll check if stutters still occur.
Commented 6 years ago2018-03-01 20:19:27 UTC in vault item: portalis Comment #21290
I liked it and I would gladly put it on our partly active HLDM server if not for the massive stutters caused by the flickering lights. At least I think they are the cause. Do you get it on your machine?
