I saw Inglorious Basterds opening night, on my birthday. Truly a great movie it was.
17 years old today, woohoo!
I just saw Moon at the theatre last night. What an incredible movie that was. Kinda slow paced from the start, but the story kept getting more intriguing as it went along, and I never could have predicted how it would end. Plus, the emoticon robot puts Wall-E to shame. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Business Software Alliance caught me planting some seeds for Windowz, and notified my IP, who scolded me for being a bad person. I find it funny or a bit strange that Microsoft is still concerned about piracy with an operating system they don't even sell anymore. What should people do if they genuinely need a copy of an old Windows OS, but there are no legal venues to attain it from? At least they didn't complain about my selfless redistribution of Windows 98.
Finally got my car running tonight! I probably woke up everyone in our condominium complex.
I finally got my driver's license today.
So I had my cylinder head all torqued down correctly on my car just now, as I had finally received some of the parts to put my car back together today. I then realized that I had forgotten to put the intake manifold gasket on, which is impossible to install with the head bolted down. So then I had to take all the brand new bolts off again, along with the new head gasket, and scrap them, as they are single-use parts. I have now re-ordered the parts, which will probably be here in two weeks time. Previously today, I also ruined another part that came with the order, and rushed to the auto part's store for a replacement. The order that originally cost me just under $60 has now cost me upwards of $120. Oh, and I also trashed the interior surface of my headlight while attempting to de-fog it. Unfortunately, I'm about out of money now, so I can't afford to be a complete retard anymore.
I listened to this while I went about working on my computer, and I have to say these guys definitely achieved their goal of creating the most annoying song ever.
I'm back, I know everybody was missing me.
Tomorrow I am leaving for Kentucky to spend ten days with my grandma on her farm, doin' hard labor 'n shit
Failed my driving test for the second time.
I started my car up the other day after installing some new parts, and one of the lifter retainers spontaneously shattered. With nothing to keep the directional roller lifter from spinning in circles inside its bore, it ground off the edges of the roller against the camshaft, ruining them both. I now have to pull off my cylinder head, extract the shards of metal from my engine, and replace all the lifters and the camshaft.
On top of that, school's about to let out, it's stuck at my auto shop, and my courageous mother will not allow me to bring it home to work on it, so it will sit inside a fence for months in which time most cars there get vandalized.
Yay, perseverance.
EDIT: Just struck a deal with my mom, seems that she'll let me work on it at home as long as I can finish it in a short period of time.

My Mom totaled our car on the freeway a while back, so on top of having to take my driving test again in about a week, I now have to do it with a manual in my Dad's car. Yeehaw.
