Yeah I know this is a big thing to ask for but I really dont have the money to buy programs and stuff, cuz freewares give me little help. IF any wants to help me make some models and stuff please reply here

Specifically civilian characters that respond like scientist characters BUT my mod also need the scientist character for the story line of it. I also need upgraded or more preferably evolved zombies that move faster and the works.

PLEASE HELP

let me rephrase this, I have a mod folder called residentmesa, in the pak file called pak0.pak is a folder called models, in the models folder there are the hgrunt, hgrunt1, hgrunt2, hgrunt3, hgruntt like the original hgrunt models in the half-life/valve/pak0.pak file. How would I make it so that when I run a map that tests to see if the grunt is the new model, its the new model?

Im using the poke646 hgrunt models cuz I dont have a program to make my own

To make completely new npc, you have to make the models, texture em up, code em up....blahblahblah I have new grunt model, how would I make that be the npc that showes up under a monster_hgrunt, would I have to export the textures and import it into the hgrunt model or is there another way?

PS. If anyone could make me a super zombie for my mod please tell me and ill give you the details

I only played to the part where you get the turret on the hovercraft, third level or so but I was told that the last level is the best level in all gaming history, can anyone concure that?

Im making a new mod with some friends called Resident Mesa - I sugjested it to some dude here awile ago but I got a perfect storyline, better than his crap line - anyways I have a small map and It freezes compiling during the vis, Is there something wrong?

But a million times better because you can get up to 1Gig of hardrive or in Monkeys case 2Gigs.

here try this
make a multimanager, func_wall_toggle (the field)
under the multimanager, targetname - name it forcefield_mm.
turn smartedit off.
add a new trigger, name it forcefield, set the value to .1
add a new trigger, name it forcefield_mm, set the value to 10.

now click on flags, check the multithreaded.

if it works it should start as soon as the game starts, after 10 sec. it will turn off, then 10 sec later it will turn on again.

have a trigger_auto target the multi_manager, otherwise the mm will not start

that sounds like fun, i personnaly never played the game but i really want to, i think that morrowind would be fun online, with some limitations, like if you die, you loose some of your money only, you teleport to the last city youve been in unless you put a mark spell.....of course there would have to be alot more enemies outside

ok heres the deal....IF....people want to do it, i want you to send me and email to SPIRIT_CAT@msn.com and if you do when you write me a message....put the subject as twhl project, cuz most likely your email will go into the junk folder, tell me what your main position would be and one other thing that your good at.....ex. Best: Mapping Good: Scripting If i get enough people then i start a thread on different ideas, like story lines, new characters, weapons, etc.......but as i said before.....its just something i would like to do but can only do it if people are willing to do it.

oh, well after the new site came up i lost the internet for a long time so i was never able to come and see what was going on......it probobly failed because people werent dedicated enough, and as i said this would only work if people want to do it....otherwise thats fine....it was just a sugjestion......and if it did happen there would have to be leaders of each catagory of work

if you do a trigger_hurt put it over the whole map, have the damage be like whatever you want and damage type be zap (or something similar)

yes bryce thats exactly what i mean.....like these people do all of the mapping....then sent to these people who do all the fine detailing then sent to the lighting people that really know how to light up something....but the main reason why i want to do this is just for the fun of it.

The only problem is that most of the people here dont want to map with others that dont "Qaulify" to there level of skills so they will pass it up.....well at least thats what i think though i am probobly wrong

if you have a light fixture.....using the light texture ya know to make a place of where the light entity would be coming from.....if you have that just a brush and not make it a func_wall, the light would hit the brush and, you can tell cuz of the different shades of light coming from all the sides, would split the cieling face
