also, for both servers, the admins should organise games.

Like, ask people when they're most likely to be able to play, and arrange games every day.

Elon, when you put your back into it and win another gold trophy, you can make a better compo, okay? Kasperg earned the right to submit his compo idea, and frankly, i think its great. stop whining, start mapping

your map configuration is wrong, and you're trying to use steam which holds the .wads in GCF files. extract them

yeah, i lied. I've been on the server a few times. its incredibly popular.. i have yet to see it with less than 4 players in it, and most of the time it has 6..

edit:

HAHAHAHA!
it had 6 people playing a rats map, it changed to assault and they all left like that snaps fingers

right. This is how the mod stands now.

Chapter 1 - MuzzleFlash
Chapter 2 - TBA
Chapter 3 - chickenfist
Chapter 4 - Daubster (saco?)
Chapter 5 - The Hunter
Chapter 6 - Gargly Wargly

Modelling and skinning - Pepper
Coding - MuzzleFlash

Publiciser - Habboi

Various Little things - Rimrook, Unbreakable, David

Finaliser (final compile, completes level changes between chapter etc) - MuzzleFlash

Don't bother saying "I can do Chapter 2!!!111!1 PICK ME!!11" Myself and the team will be considering what will be done with chapter 2... It'll probably end up with one of the team finishing it, but there is a chance we'll ask somebody new

in Garrys Mod sells out Post #174245
i'm not concerned at all about this. For one, it was bound to happen eventually, and 2, Garry's mod, that until recently was totally free is a good deal better than a lot of game released into the market... It also give users the ability to create their own games...

Its worth paying for, so stop whining

As for the rest of you, get back to the petty bickering. It is incredibly fun to see Xyos try to come up with more excuses to counter attacks on his precious country.

This is why I blocked this idiot
Kindly explain what "this" is...

You dont think its unfair that somebody who was apparantly a friend completely ignores me without giving reason, then proceeds to call my work his own?

You know for a fact that should you have asked, i would have said fine.

ok, there is no fucking way that you can go off on your little huff with me then proceed to use MY work and call it your own.

Remove everything of mine from that map (mainly seen in the second screenshot in the city room list)

Also, you just used elements of your own ganglife map..

never use my stuff without asking.

Ok, for all of you people who have been assured that we are nearing the end, you might want to slap us...

Several rather large problems have cropped up, the largest of them being that Unbreakable apparantly quit the team without even bothering to tell me. So while i've been happily working away at Gyradell Invasion, thinking that HS is going great, nothing has happened with Chapter 2.

I expect that i'll be making chapter 2..

Also, there are a few smaller problems running around the inner-works of this mod...

BUT NEVER FEAR! If I work myself to death, I WILL get this mod finished.

It just needs some time to get smoothed out.

Oh, and I know it wasn't your fault Unbreakable that you lost all the data, but for not bothering to tell me, you get a big :thefinger:

im not going to read all the pages of posts that i've missed in this thread, but since the last time i posted and now it appears we've got nowhere.

So you know... What the fuck...

Are the Americans of TWHL still too fucking dense to accept that their country is a bully and that large percentages of the population are only just smart enough to work the microwave?
Basically, you've all too proud to even read what we're typing.

it took me a few seconds to realise what you meant, Alex. But then i got ya, Even if one window of IE runs more efficiantly than Firefox or Opera, both Firefox and Opera have the tab system, meaning they can open as many pages in the browser as they want, wheras IE has to open another version of IE. and another. And another. and another.

Internet Explorer is getting PWNED

User posted image

And just so you know, 1 page open in Internet Explorer takes up more system resources than Opera open with 6 pages open.

It has a gigantic online community totally dedicated to making it look sexy.
Go tools/ appearance then click on find more skins.

Also, the tabs on top of tools/appearance let you totally customise your opera. It has an IRC client and a convenient side-toolbar that can be hidden.
You can edit all the toolbars and add your own buttons and links.

It has several start-up options in tools/preferences and many more features. Play around with it.

1. I checked this in IE and it looks like shit cos it doesnt support .PNG transparency, so the first nag is important also.

2. no doubts

3. This has been proven, dont even attempt to deny that FF and Opera are faster

4. Tabs and total customisability ( IT IS A WORD IF I WANT IT TO BE! ) make internetting a breeze

I'm pretty sure Alex would like to list hundreds of reasons why not to use interent explorer...
I shall start

reasons to burn IE

1) Ugly as sin
2) No tab system (window-in-window)
3) No customizable toolbars
4) No IRC client
5) No regular updates
6) Slower than almost all other browsers
7) No transfer window...
8) Lack of a magic wand tool.
9) Lack of the ability to auto-fill forms
10) No huge online community devoted to making it look sexy

Please continue, Alex
