sorry, I did not think that anyone that had the slightest interest in half-life was yet to finish the series. As for that naked combine, it does look like a stalker a bit though doesn't it? ...we've seen talkers before in the citadel but how come we've never actually fought them?

ok so you want the monster_maker to spawn a monster every time you click like a button?

Then you will need to do this:

Make the button trigger a multi_manager

Make the multi_manager trigger monster_maker to spawn 1 zombie, and then instantly trigger the monster_maker AGAIN, so that the monster_maker turn off and no more zombies spawn, but now you can trigger it again to repeat process.

properties should be:

Multi_manager
0.1 monster_maker1
1.0 monster_maker1

and for the button at least 1 extra second before it resets so
Delay Before Reset: 2.0

and for monster_maker
Depends what you want here: -1 max children for unlimited zombies so he can click and spawn as much as he wants, or a number like 1 2 3 or 4 for max number of zombies 1 2 3 or 4.

Well now that I know the story, I'm excited for Half-Life 3, and In a way I see why they are taking so long.

HL1: Repel Xen Invasion, oblivious to combine
HL2: Combine Invasion, defeat combine forces on earth
HL3: Combine soldiers call for back up, a conflict on a whole new level begins.

Man that has a lot of possibilities. Freeman going to alien original planet to destroy the combine there, or freeman going to the main place where the combine is being operated from on all galaxies and takes it up with their leader or I dunno, massive amount of combine reinforcements flying to earth and freeman has to stop them getting there, or combine deathstar about to blow up earth and freeman has to stop it... why does freeman have to do it all by himself anyway

Thanks a lot Boomer, this gives me high hopes for the next hl game, as in it most likely that distress signal would have summoned massive amounts of new combine, and perhaps we may even be visiting an alien planet

Yeah I never understood where the combine came from, freeman was owning these aliens and their invasion, and at the same time this citadel was being built and these random robot human things overtook the planet? I didn't get that part. Plus the vortigaunts are still there barely since they were freed, but what about controllers and grunts? It would be nice if the next half-life would clear up the story rather than just be another linear adventure as it is.

hey guys, I taught some of you may know something about these codes, my computer makes weird beep noises and other noises when it starts up, I know these noises indicate failure somewhere in the system, but im not sure what each different beep means, maybe some of you do!

Here are the beeps I get:

When I turn on the computer, A spinny noise repeats 3 times, fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh. (like a disk or fan spinning noise, what does this mean?)

After that, I get three beeps that only showed up recently. all of them are equally fast, but the first is high pitched and the last two are low pitched.

I have also noticed occasional weird slow downs in my pc. What do these beep codes mean? any help?

I laugh at everyone here that says another CS game is bad / shouldn't be made. It's one of the most addictive and fun to play shooters of all time, and a great game for it's time. Revisiting the franchise with a new game can only be a good thing. It doesn't matter if they remake the same old maps in each of the games, it'll be a new engine with new content and as always it will have mappers to create new custom maps for you to play on servers at your leisure.

I live in London and racism is everywhere, Most of the racism is faced towards white people however of different nationalities than English. In many places I've seen a lot of black people abuse and discriminate white immigrants. I myself was discriminated by the black community in my school for having a foreign accent, most times I was called a polish cunt, even though I'm from Latvia which has barely anything to do with Poland. A lot of grown up English men also "hate" the "Polish" (or so they think) community that comes to England to "steal their jobs" when all these immigrating people are doing is trying to get a better life in better living conditions; these immigrants work harder for lower pay, so why shouldn't company's choose to hire them over someone else?

Point of the matter is, Racism is still everywhere, right now I think Racism is directed more towards White and Asian nationalities, rather than Black.

As for the thread itself, You'd think of me as racist if I said it's black youth that are responsible for this mess, but that is the truth. It's not just black people involved in the riots, there are people of all nationalities here, but these black youth are the main trouble makers here in England and the areas that are filled with them, I.E.: Croydon, Brixton, Clapham were the first to get attacked. Plus all the images and videos show that it is them on the streets, the facts speak for themselves.

If you lived here you would understand what I mean. The poorer areas of London are mainly filled with Black people. In these poorer areas, they don't educate themselves properly, in these poorer schools of theirs a lot of them don't get their grades because they choose to mess around rather than study, and its these people that start trouble, and then follow the criminals, looters, and others who get peer pressured into it.

It's 2011, you ignorant fuck. How can you possibly think it's even remotely acceptable to judge people by their race?
