when i got the new hammer it was all set up for me when steam updated
there all models and yuo can use these entities!

a box should appear with a list of models to use and the rubbish you are looking for is in the folder called props_junk

well you can copy the mod folder to dedicated server or source dedicated server depending on what game it is hl1 or hl2 mod
it then allows you to host servers on that spercific mod as long as you have maps in it

so very true there and its a shame that a lot of people cant use hl2 on their computers due to errors
but it would be cooler as noobs would have a chance of wining if everyone is new to hl2 mapping but i have had lots of experience with it on hl2 but css still is new to me! damn skies

dajuppi you really hate hl2 dont you
i noticed you keep saying it sucks well i must admit that valve could have done better but that doesnt mean it sucks because look at all the mods hl has made and now with new physics much more can be achieved and that means a whole lot more fun
now games like red faction dont have as many fun mods as hl has made and soon hl2 will double the amount of mods made from hl1!

sounds as though your missing those textures in your halflife directory or in other words
half life is looking for textures that dont seem to exist and replaces those with pink and black squared textures!

problem solved i managed to figure it out sorta
well i basically dragged the gfc file onto gfcscape and opened it maually!

you gotta love those env_cubemaps!!! and yeh i think the best bit about hl2dm is the fact that you can shoot with gravity gun! and whats funny is that you can shoot say explosive barrels at people!
noobs sometimes hold explosive cans in front of them with gravity gun and most people just shoot the can in front of him so he died
there will be great maps to come from people (cough rabid) which will use the physics well he he (shooting a wooden support and the roof falls down)
The cool thing on dm_lockdown is that theres a plug on the floor which you can pick upwith gravity gun and place in the socket near it! This triggers the fan in the vent to go on and kills anyone inside the vent!
Inside the vent are rpgs and ammo so thats why people go in there

also i might add you can also put mod folders into the dedicated server directory which allows you to host servers on other mods such as rlm, snow wars etc
wow i must say thats quite interesting and theres some footage of the plane crashing that i havent seen before and which also makes me feel sad. This video seems to have some properganda in it somwhere though!

i decided to make a test map for hl2 and put zombies, combine, allies etc and it was so crazy that it lagged my comp untill it closed hl2 !!
i only had about 30 mdls which is nothing i was going to have 100

ok i remember footage of hl2 before it was released showing harbour, good traps in ravenholm, and different weapons

this guy didnt have rad ticked like me but after noticing it i ticked it and ever since my lights have gotton full bright and i mean bright (very white) so do ya reckon i should turn rad off

weird its just that i have to close steam an reopen again so the new map is added to the list!
hmmm there are numerous puzzles so i have some solutions:
1. one barrier requires battery packs to be placed in three slots to progress

weird i dont seem to have a folder called sound but the songs must be somewhere because the game cant play them without them which means they exist somewhere in my computer?

well halo is alright with 2 players but half life 2 is different i cant describe it but its just cool
whats SDK anyway
well i preloaded it so now i have to wait till hl2 comes out i guess well cs:s is cool i guess and steam arnt very trustworthy i admit as for example you preload all games, you purchase the silver deal for instance, it downloads onto your computer but if you lose your account then you have to buy it again as they dont give a CD!
is hammer 4 out yet as i cant seem to find it and i want to map for source or hasnt it been released yet?
