Yeah... viewing the source isn't exactly an advanced feature. Plus, no, you can't copy the site because you don't have any of the backend code whatsoever.
Check the mapname.log, in with the RMF. Also, either uncheck "game_exe" or check "don't run game" in the compile (assuming you're compiling through Hammer) to check. It might be a fatal error which loses focus. Try hitting space, and if nothing happens, alt+tab quickly (even though there may be no visible change) and space again.
"'Ullo 'ullo 'ullo, what's goin' on 'ere then", said the DC as he burst into the room, and I quote, "Gordon Bennet!". The dentist stumbled back against a worktop, clutching the P90 in shock, and Jeffrey's mother screamed as a burst of 5.7mm fire tore jagged holes in the ceiling, rocketing back toward the dentist.
If we're aiming for July then I'm going to need to be moved. I believe I break up from college the beginning of that month, and I won't have time to map until then.
Heh, sounds good, BL. I'd like to see that, too, Kasperg, sounds excellent.
I think that only the used textures from the WAD are included, but I'm not sure. Try it ? make a silly big WAD and just use one texture, then compare with and without -wadincluding.
That sounds very strange. Are you using Steam HL or WON? Does it happen with any map? Are you trying to create a LAN multiplayer server or a single-player game through the console?
In future, refrain from saying in map descriptions. If it actually doesn't in any way whatsoever use decompiled parts of another author's map, then it will be left.
You know, there are time constraints for many people too. I imagine I'll enter one over the summer, handing over my administrative stuff to Andy for a bit :).
Decompiled maps are not acceptable. They are moral (and/or legal?) theft of intellectual property, and possible infringement of copyright (I imagine they definitely are for "VALVe"'s maps.
