8GB DDR3 1333MHz = 25$
2GB DDR3 1333MHz = 10$

Ram is extremely cheap.
I payed 60e for 2x 1GB 1600MHz Gail Black Dragon modules 2 years ago.
For 400e he can get 2x High end GPU in SLI mode, and im tlaking about GT570.

The most important part is that he does not buy a cheap ass crappy MoBo. Mother boards are a bit expensive, 200e, but for the budget he wants to spend, he will be able to build an i7 kick ass rig.

Also Crollo, shit is not cheap, only RAM is cheap, and CPUs dropped a bit, everything else is over priced. Not to talk about HDDs. They were 3x cheaper this time last year.

IBM does have the most quality, but for the budget he can get a much stronger configuration out of Sony.

This map is extremely massive. Select all those boxes youve made, and all sides that are func_wall and make all 6 sides on each box into one func_wall.

Do this to reduce the entity count.

A total of 421 entities. Thats in the limit.

Here is the info from Tommy 14's error guide:

HOST ERROR: PF_precache_model_l:'sprites/spritename' overflow
HOST ERROR: PF_precache_model_1:'models/modelname.mdl' overflow


Precache is a game memory problem. It often could be you have a bad path/name for a sprite/model/wav. But it can also be that you have too many kinds or too large sprites, models(400 obj limit?), wav sound files(limit<3min) or entitys(data limit ~0.5M) and have overfilled the space setup for them. (see also SVC bad below.) Sometimes combining entities into fewer helps, but usually you will have to simplify to fewer kinds of sprites/models, or smaller sprites/models/wavs. Occasionally this error happens when you are using a corrupted or non-standard model/sprite. Using other folk's prefabs are often hidden reasons for this problem.
Sometimes the "too many wads" problem sets this off, or having a brush textured with AAAtrigger texture visible in the map will cause this problem.

Bruce always has a simple solution.

As for Science and religion, you need to understand some things and live trough other to really understand and get your own meaning of what religion means to other and to your self.
There is a good movie about this, dont remember the name, but the scene is a black man with a bible talking to a drink addicted doctor.

All of what was written here is present in a lot of countries, not just US. I dare not talk about what I've read and seen on this topic in England.

Thing in the end is, you can always blame the parents.

They all had sexual experiences under the age of 15.

Im not denying what you said and I do agree it shouldn't be presented as it is mostly now. But sex at an early age can affect people in one way or an other, especially if in an environment where something about it is or is not accepted.

That spaceship is kinda strange, i mean, one hit to that bridge there and the whole thing will fall apart.

I always liked the idea of realistic space ships, thick armor, suppression fields and stuff like that.
I always thought a space ship needs engines on multiple places, not just on side/back/front.
Of course, looking cool is all that matters in the end, but still :P

Its made out of 1 entity (Or two, depending on does it work right), you would make it by making an AAAtrigger texture block and the rest around it and tying it all to an entity.

You dont need to use lights.rad for this, only try to get it to render the aaatrigger in pure color.

Lol, i hate this map.

Ok, that part is made out of AAATrigger texture with render mode PURE COLOR. As far as i know this render mode DOES NOT work in VHLT, so you will have to use SHLT. I am also researching why doesnt it work in VHLT.

I have a full disc of CS 1.3 maps, gonna take a look at the stuff on it! Will upload cool stuff if i find, and i bet i will.

As for todays play, Bruce and Rufe are pretty good, Captain T was too busy examining the map geometry and textures to shoot XD

I couldn't get my self to explore Quark more, it bored me quickly.
There is also an 3D like map maker, but still as not as sophisticated as Hammer.

What we need is an updated Hammer with more formulas for objects, such as Arcs, Cylinders, Spikes. Also better grouping.

There is a Russian Hammer Editor alternative, and it has some pretty nice functions, but its fully on Russian, hard to understand.

And Portal 2 editor is probably Source only.

Thats pretty awesome. But i bet a fully made model is much harder to animate?

I was thinking of getting into 3D animation, but i took a turn to sound. MIDI and Chiptune to be more precise.
