It sure looks like it will.
And I just saw WarGames: The Dead Code. Was exactly as bad as one would expect, being a direct to DVD sequel that you've likely never heard of, released 25 years after the original.
And about halfway through the film I noticed a fairly obvious goof. So obvious that not noticing it would be more surprising.

This reflection of the camera crew is visible for several seconds, with pretty much nothing else going on while they're there. They're pretty much the only thing that's in focus the entire time for Pete's sake, I don't know how anyone missed it.

Have it make sense in context, so that the players will automatically attempt to do that. Maybe have someone explain that the green rods are magical explosion creation devices.

I still haven't seen Inception. :(
But I recently saw Tron, Wargames and Watchmen.

Tron, I didn't know anything about beforehand except for that lightcycle sequence on Family Guy. For the first twenty minutes I was confused, and then for the rest I was enthralled. A very interesting movie, very good.

Wargames was one of those movies that I had always intended to see. I finally did at the urging of Joebama. A very good movie.

Watchmen was a hell of a lot longer than I had anticipated, but I think it was well worth it. Contained a lot less 'azure appendages' than what people talking about the movie would have you believe.

By the way guys, when you happen to run across Black Mountain Radio signal, listen to it for a while, it's really funny .
I actually happened across that area trying to find Sunny Smiles for a quest. I thought it was a plot point that she'd been kidnapped or something, but she just happened to be walking there.

I've heard of that error. It's a side effect of the way the game is coded so that the bedrock is non uniform, to make it look less weird if you clear a large area.

That reminds me of my friends world, he tried to build a fireplace and ended up setting fire to his house, and burnt most of the wooden floor away. He was devastated that his work was destroyed (as in a section of his small, mostly stone house), so he lost the will to continue playing and ended up burning most of the trees in his world.

I do, which is why those screenshots up there are set to near minimum.
It's probably due to some kind of bug, Fallout 3 runs fine for me on medium to high settings, while those screenshots show New Vegas set to about as high as I can push it before the framerate becomes unbearable.

I don't, back when I got Max I had very little hard drive space, so I had to choose between the two. Max won, because Rimrook had those tutorials.
I can't get it now though, my uni has put restrictions on the network that make 'obtaining' it damn near impossible.

Well, sorry for the ugly graphics, but I've got some screenshots too.

As I was wandering the wastes, I happened across a rest stop that was infested with those loathesome radscorpions. Seeing as I'm still a low level character, and one not particularly suited to combat, I could see that this was going to be troublesome. I tried tackling them head on, to no avail. I tried shooting them from afar, with the same results. Both instances they chased me relentlessly. I did manage to win at one point, but at the expense of all my dynamite, .357 ammo and most of my 10mm ammo. And then I noticed that the abandoned car still had its reactor in place. I led them on a chase around the building, once I was sure they were all following me I ran by the car, sinking a few rounds into it as I went past. The troupe of radscorpions was next to the vehicle as it went up. This was the result.

I still need to do the trigger, hammer, wood part of the handle, and the loading lever. I also need to learn how to use 3DS Max so I can actually use some of these models.

[Edit]
I'll do the loading lever tomorrow, it could be considered complete as it is because not all Model 1851's came with a loading lever.

Even though my housemates have organised a house party here today, I'm going to play it now. I'm not even out of the starting village yet. Hell, I've spent so little time playing it I don't even know the name of the village. D:

To answer question five, I believe the number limit is ten. As far as I know, you can't set the speed )I think the default is one frame every 0.1 seconds, not too sure though). And you don't need a tutorial, just make sure the textures for each frame are all the same size, and all have the same name with +# added at the start, with # being the frame number.
So the first frame would be +0texturename, the second would be +1texturename, the third is +2texturename, and so on.

in Hi there guys, plx help me out here. Post #286564
1. I play a lot of games. I'd say Sci-Fi Games are popular because they can create massive fictional worlds with almost no limitations, in the same way that fantasy can. Horror, I'm not so sure. People just like the adrenaline rush that comes from being scared I guess.

2. I've played Fallout 3, and I would expect what Potasis and, depending on how recent the apocalyptic scenario was, what JeffMOD said. If it's less than a few hundred years, then yes, but if it's a lot later, then there would be a lot less signs that there used to be a civilisation there.

3. Robots manufactured before the apocalypse, re purposed for other things. A hydraulic press might be used to lift up an armoured gate at the entrance of a settlement, a robot from an assembly line might be used as a small crane in construction.

4. Personally the term makes me think of a Raygun Gothic type spaceship, but I would guess a spacecraft would vary, depending on what it was used for and the technology level of the setting. A craft made to simply bring objects into space would look like a Saturn V or an Ares IX. Pointy with fire coming out the bottom basically.
Something made to bring people into space and then house them while they're there would vary depending on what they would be doing in space.
Something that stays in space the entire time and uses shuttles to bring people to it would probably have a structure similar to the ISS or perhaps the Icarus in Sunshine, with things like exposed framework and such. It wouldn't experience a lot of stresses as it would never be within a planet's atmosphere, spending all of it's time in orbit or interplanetary space. (Interstellar space or even intergalactic space would be entirely different)

That last paragraph took a few edits. I need to proofread next time I write something that long.

I'd argue that a magazine would always be better than a revolving cylinder.
But a revolving cylinder is much more mechanically reliable, and such a weapon jamming is practically unheard of. If there's a simple misfire then that can be cleared by pulling the trigger again.
