So painters, singers, and film producers should not get paid for making art? They already enjoy what they do, so why should they get paid at all?and when they are you introduce licensing and it all becomes a huge mess, obviously they have to make a living but you have to admit the music and film industries have turned shite in recent times all because of pursuit of profit over actual art (god that sounds socialist)
Personally I believe that the majority of people on here would rather people wanted to play their maps or view their 'art' rather than making money off of it. Thinking about it the whole 'this was necessary' argument doesnt even make sense, how come so many other mods have managed it despite their popularity.

I have that opinion about work, but this is art, there is a massive difference to me. As fun as it would be to make money doing something I love, even if it were possible I just couldnt charge people for what I make (no snide comments please), even if Ive put 7 months effort into it.

towards the end of the game its getting progressively more rediculous, with the protagonist exhibiting superhuman powers. It all culminates in a 1/2 hour orgy of shit writing where there is both a totally implausible fight scene ripped straight from the matrix, the introduction of a new race AI that has nothing to do with the main plot so far, the introduction of an underground group of tramps who monitor the world, the protagonist having sex with the person investigating him for murder, despite being A WALKING CORPSE with no body warmth and hours earlier trying to kill each other and the ending, where despite the entire earth being plunged into an ice age that destroys everything, the main protagonists are sitting in the most over the top green field with bunnies and happy flowers
Its as if they look up deus ex machina and applied it directly to the plot of matrix revolutions to finish their crappy crappy game.
Friends of mine I unfortunately introduced to the game came to the same conclusion, what the fuck was the director thinking??
