I would simply not make a medkit that complex.
And I doubt that it is possible, unless it's a huge medkit.

And I mean huge

Well, I would without doubt buy the 3 new games for the same price as the orange box.
And ant, no advanced stuff, I know Im wrong about
half-life 2 and episode one is like, a free gift in the package.
It's just a point of view.
Even if that isn't the case, it would seem like it is judging by the prize

I don't understand what people are complaining about.

Would you have bought Teamfortress 2, Episode 2 and Portal for the same price as the current orange box? Yes, you would have.
Now you get 2 games which you already have in the same package.
So?

in Your Gaming History? (Long Post) Post #235301
I've played a lot of games, so I'll just show of my favourites through time.

I guess I started when I was like 4 with sonic on my brothers console.
It was matter of fact the first 16 bit Sega console which still works :>

http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game01_sonic.jpg

Moved on to computers.

I started playing age of empires which at the time had awesome graphics. I didn't really get the game tho, I was a bit too young.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game02_AOE.jpg

So I moved on to Warcraft 2

This is when my level design career started because I wanted to make my own warcraft maps, I found layout and gameplay very important which later lead to HL1 mapping.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game03_wc.jpg

Then I discovered FPS when I was around 8 years old.
Quake 2.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game04_quake2.jpg

And quake 2 obviously lead to Half-life 1, by then I was like 10 years old
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game05_hl.jpg

After playing HL1, I wanted to see if there was anything else which was HL1 related since I thought that it was such a great game.
I found the Generations pack when I was eleven, and then I started mapping.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game_06_hlexpansions.jpg

I guess I didn't play anything interesting until HL2 came out.
Nothing more to say here.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game07_halflife2.jpg

I had played BF1 before, but I didn't find it very much fun, but then I saw BF2, which I bought and started playing as soon as it was released.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game08_bf2.jpg

And then came the amazing FEAR out, which to me was the ultimate FPS, and which I still play from time to time even though I've finnished it on expert several times.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game09_FEAR.jpg

I got interessted in Generals ZH again a few years after I had played it the first time.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game10_ZH.jpg

CoH and C&C 3 which I bought at the start of this years, both truely awesome games.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game11_CoH.jpg

And then, Quake 4 which I just finnished 2 weeks ago.
http://oxihosting.com/files/50/game12_Quake4.jpg

I might have missed a few games tho.

There are tutorials on HSI all over the internets, and some even here on TWHL.

I'd suggest startin with this one, as I did:
http://halflife2.filefront.com/files/Half-Life_2/Tutorials_and_Guides/VTMs;4385

This one teaches you the basics of weapon modelling, and after this tutorial I could model pretty much every weapon that I wanted.
These talants can be used while modelling other things too.

However, the reason I didn't release any models was because of the compile which for me was fucked due to steam issues.
There is a tutorial on compiling props on TWHL, go get it.

Simply make a point_camera, name it something, then make an info_camera_link (I believe that is the name, I can't check right now), and a brush with a dev_monitor texture (just filter monitor..)
Tell the info camera link which camera to use, and then select a brushface with a monitor texture on it so show what the camera is viewing.
DONE.

I believe it is that simple, but I do not have hammer here so i can't check it out.

However, I have made this example which shows that and some other things...

in Mouse problems in Half-life engine Post #234882
Here's the deal.
I have a laptop which is better than the computer which I first played HL on max graphics on.
But for some reason I'm getting mouse lag when I play.
Also, it does not seem to like the smoke grenades in CS, even tho they are at lowest quality.
Also, I run the games in 16 bit mode, not 32 even tho the computer can handle it.
It would seem as this is not a system spec related issue as even if I drag down the graphics, I still get the same problems.

What's really weird (hence the name) is that these problems only seem to occur in half-life 1 related games,
I mean, I can play Quake 3 with max bots no problem!

Notice that this does not only affect online play, but also single player.

Any ideas on how to fix this, or is there nothing that I can do about it?

Thanks!

I use Free Ram mainly for the launch.
For some reason, after the launch I usually have like 300 mb of RAM.
But I've set Free Ram to Auto Free directly after all the startup programs have been started.
This makes up to 500 MB free.

I love challenges..

I SUGGEST!

Every single on/off button will have it's own logic_relay.
Every logic_relay will have the same name.
Every logic_relay will start as disabled.
Every single logic_relay will have it's own outputs doing different things.

When you press an on/off button, the corresponding logic_relay will be enabled/disabled.

When you press the trigger button, it will trigger all of the logic_relays at once and since they have the same name only one output will be necessary for the main trigger button.
When the signal of that output is sent, only those relays who are not disabled will act, those who are disabled won't do anything.

Can you see where I am getting at?

Problem solved. :>

So, what you're saying is..
*Loads of useless registry entrys does not affect the computer.
*Spyware is harmless.
*Clutter does not actually fill any space.
*Low RAM does not affect the speed of the computer.
*Loads of programs starting up at once on launch does not affect the speed of the launch

Explain yourself.

And no, I am not exaggerating
Using these programs I removed all unnecessary startup programs which had been added by default (it IS a laptop) making the startup many times faster
This pushed up the ram from 300 to 600.
Computer was still slow, I ran a registry check, found.. can't remember how many crap entrys, removed them, and BANG!
Everything is faster.

Registry cleaners are useless and actually cause damage. Anything advertised in a pop-up is likely a trojan.
True, if you use them wrong.
Registry cleaners does speed up the computer by removing useless entrys which you will get plenty of.

And, as you said David, don't just download ANY registry cleaner.
Download safe ones from trustable sites.
I can't remember the name of it, but there is a site which tests and reviews all these freeware programs, they make sure there are no spyware or viruses in them

in A swinging light Post #234518
Simple.
A prop_physics lamp

A Keyframe_rope which is to be parented to the lamp

A move_rope which should be the top part of the rope and connected to the keyframe_rope

A phys_lengthconstraint which is put on the exact same position as the keyframe_rope and should only have one change in the properties, "entity1" which should be changed into the name of the lamp prop

Done with the swingypart!
Now for the light itself.

Make a light_dynamic, set it up as you wish, and then parant it to the lamp prop, and put it directly under the lamp model.
It should not touch the model sides!
And if you wish, put in a point_spotlight to create that foggy light effect.
