Added mp_maxrounds, along with a few extra thingies - so it should work now. :^_^:

There's a problem with it, though. All cvars and the maplist seem to be in order, yet it won't changelevel automatically.

A suggestion for the Map Vault: multiple author support for a single map. I'm sure there are plenty of mods, as well as some maps, that were developed by a team of more than one member here, so it's only logical to give credit/control over the MV submission to everyone involved in it.

The system could work like this:
  • Upon submitting a map, a member can specify any additional authors.
  • To avoid your name being associated with a crappy hollowed cube, every additional author is notified of being included in the author list of that map/mod and can accept/decline it.
  • Every aditional author can edit the map info, etc.
What do you think?

GldSrc: Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 (recommended)
Src: Microsoft Visual C++ 2003 (recommended) and newer
Torrent em'.

As for the Source code, both HL and HL2 are written in C++
Both have a similar entity hierarchy/system and more similar things.

For GldSrc , google Half-Life coding tutorials and I'm sure you'll find loads of material to get you started/guide you further.
For Src, go to the Valve Developer wiki/google it.
