  • func_door, func_door_rotating, func_water and momentary_door -> Flag: Toggle :: Means that if the door is triggered once, it opens and stays open until triggered again
You don't need to know and understand every property of every entity to map :) Nice to see you've bothered to read around though rather than spamming the forums with "omg how do i map omg omg".

Try just using a "light" entity? If not, the compiled maps are being copied to the wrong place/aren't being copied. Find fy_council_estate-b1.bsp in your RMFs directory and copy that into your cstrikemaps directory, overwriting the original.

The reason your map isn't being lit is becuase you're only running two of the four compile programs. You're only using CSG and BSP, which produce the map itself, missing VISibility and RADiosity (lighting). Check your compile settings and perhaps look at this. Good luck; let us know how it works out.

You probably have a leak. Look that up in the Hammer helpfile and here. Try and fix it. If it still won't work, post the compile log.

Wavs are tricky. You must use the perfect path/name, with the right capitals; sometimes even just adding or dropping the .wav extension in the name can fix things. If there are many wavs, you have to watch your sound card channel limits, or you will lose sounds/ambient_generics/wavs.

If the problem is a custom wav, it has to be under the max size limit of less than 3 minutes, in the right format. (format is: unsigned, 8bit, mono, one start cue, 11025Hz PCM.)

You can also try typing developer 3 into the console while playing the map, then walking through a trigger that targets the wav. The report may give a hint as to what is wrong.

Use this. I wrote it myself and it converts distance, weight, temperature, fluid volume, pressure, speed and time. Neat, huh? Plus it has a blue monkey! Haahaa! Blue monkey!
