Here guys,
http://www.acronymfinder.com/af-query.asp?Acronym=RIP&Find=find&string=exact
I was thinking R.I.P.. since it's not really about a person, that perhaps R.I.P stands for something else.. maybe a place on 1994 Economy charts? (Where the $ has __ amount of digits.)
But most likely, I think it may be referring to a band like 'Rot in Pieces'

But time is still slowed down.. If you could hold that concentration or state of mind, (near impossible) then your surroundings would appear to be going slower, just as the second hand.
Heaps of people have attempted bullet time. You know where they are now?
R.I.P.
When I said Bullet-time, I was meaning 'Slowing down time' not 'Dodging bullets'
:D

Meh, it's just a theory.

haha, HiLaRiOuS!
Ok, here's another one!

Bullet-time effect!

I think it is possible to be able to slow down time depending on the amount of concentration.
Example:
-Watching water to start boiling, does'nt it take forever?
-But ignore it, and it boils fast

Here try this.. go to a clock that has hands, now concentrate on the second hand.. The second hand will get slower. The harder you concentrate the slower it becomes.

Now, if we were able to get to such a level of concentration, I think it's possible to slow down time.

What do ya think?

Now, the main reason I started this thread is for the imaginative.
If you have theories of your own feel free to post them here.
and remember, it's just for fun.

I think levitation is very well possible. Heres a point to ponder:
Ever try walking on thin ice in which you don?t want to break? What do you do? You walk lightly on it.. But think about it.. How can you walk lightly on an object without having anything to lift you and make you lighter. Or vice versa.. try stepping on a weigh scale. Now you will notice that it is possible to make yourself slightly heavier, by simple pressing down.. yet your not pushing yourself down like for example, if you where to hold the trim of the bathroom sink, and push it up towards you, then Newtons Law comes into effect, and your body push?s down.

Now everything David Blaine does, is by far CG. If he was to levitate, that would mean he?d have to be in a quite area, to concentrate on himself being lifted.. and mainly, what your concentrating on is flexing your muscles to move upwards, which causes a large amount of strain. So he would not be able to walk away. He would soon faint before that.

Thanks for reading.
I hope this increases your knowledge and perspective. So, yes it is possible to levitate. But your mind has to be very relaxed, almost to an alpha point/state of mind.

Well, hell, here.. I?ll tell you how to train yourself.
First, Alpha, what is it?
It?s the state of mind whereas your half asleep, and awake!
For example, first thing in the morning when you wake up, and your lying in bed.. then you would be considered to be in alpha.

Now, heres the excercise.
Every morning during alpha/ coming out of, Count from 100 to 0.. (Backwards from 100) You must be completely relaxed.

I was inspired to write this after downloading 6 episodes of Chriss Angel's "MindFreaks" Series.

You guys believe? :)

What I suggested at H.I.T. Is 3=1 so to speak. Another words, in order to get a point, you would have to get members to give you 3 points, equaling 1. So it's a bit more of a democracy.

Yea, I got a leak as well in my compo map.. I loaded the pointfile.. and even used the leakmark.. and I looked and looked and looked.. and There was no leak. So i ended up just overlapping the brushes of where the leak supposed to be, it fixed it. But I hate overlapping brushes. :| But anyway, point is, the leakmarker tool really helped me alot. What I do for level changes is this..
In say
level1.rmf I set up the trigger_changelevel, and info_landmark

Then once done, I click 'Save As' and save the map with a different name:
level2.rmf Now, this map is the same as 'level1.rmf' just with a different name.. now all you have to do it change the 'Trigger_changelevel's' map name back to map1.. and you got your Change level..

So delete the unwanted parts.. (the already covered parts) and add on your next part.. this way you'll know, where ever your landmark is, it will be in the same place as both maps. ;)

New part is being made. The Pentagram room! I thought about this room for a long time.. thinking if I should put a body laying down on the pentagram. After much thought I decided to rescale meathooks I had to smaller ones, and now I got a corpse being hung from the ceiling with multiple meathooks all over his body.. I think I'll be hanging back on the screenshots for this room. I don't want you guys seeing everyroom.. takes away from the surprise!

Well, I hate to disapoint you guys, but I won't be adding any more lights to the area's shown in the screenshots.

If you look at the screenshots in a dark room... (if the suns shining, and your blinds are open, well.. need I say more!?) they are very clear.. I also mention pressing F11, this eliminates contrast around the edges of the photo caused by your browser which even I can't see clear.. but as soon as its in fullscreen, I can see it well.
Seventh, thanks for supporting me in this matter.. and for the others... well, I don't know what to say. I guess you'll have to wait to play it.. and if it's still to dark, which I really doubt, then do something with your monitor, either adjust the monitors settings, and Half-Life's Gamma settings, or throw it out the window, and buy a new one. :
But stop complaining about how dark it is.

When I test my levels, not once did I have to put "impulse 101" into the console in order to use my flashlight. I see perfectly well, unlike other mods such as AOM in particular, where the flashlight is a must.
(No offence to the makers of AOM)
Thanks for your attention.. and please no more. :)

Ah shoot, I knew it was to good.
Ok, the sound file is'nt working in half-life..
What I did in Soundforge was
Process-->BitDepth Converter--> Changed it to 8Bit
Process-->Channel Converter--> Changed it to Mono

But it still does'nt work..
Does the Audio Sample rate, or bitrate need to be changed too?
If so, how? Will in decrease the sound quality?
