Also made a hilarious discovery, I can burrow the players the same way i burrow the Glizards for 6D. I could change the ducking animation to be underground. It'd be friggin lulzy to do it. tongue - Talk about some serious hide-and-seek.
I don't believe it is. At points when you see yourself in 3rd person I believe they just spawned a slave...I know, that's true. Since the slave was in the 3rd person cutscenes was very slow and didn't perform any of the animations that a player model should have. But there is still a chance that the gordon player model could have been replaced by an alien_slave player model or just some null model. Since we only see ourselves in the first intro movie and then the player gets teleported after you enter the secret door. That's as much as I can remember about POV. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That's absurd, you don't have to recreate anything. You can import the mesh, line it up with a normal player's placeholder pose, and assign the vortigaunt's mesh to the player bones. Its the same method people use to convert things like custom CSS animations to DOD and such.That would be great.

I could'nt understand a single word of what was saying, there was too much background noise surpressing the guys speech.Press the use key "e" to talk to him again. You can press anytime and he will repeat it. And sorry for the background noise, wanted the machinery to sound realistic.
No i did not cheat in that part. I remember that guy, but he would'nt stand up. So i moved on.He should have told you to go and get a green medkit. It's in the infirmary with the keycard that leads to the nextmap. And the guy opens the garage door for you in the next map so that you can activate the generator and both of you can escape. You must have cheated. Or did you just break the garage door by kicking it?

Im stuck again.You need the driver. The owner of the car who is dying in the previous map. You need to help him first and take him to the car. Did you cheat again?
What am i supposed to do with that car on the elevator? I turned the generator on, and used the elevator lever in the control room, but the elevator doesn't move. Neither does the car, i can only break it, but that triggers a message saying "You need that car" and the game automatically loads the last saved game.
hey, is p1v3 the last mission? i no cliped all around the final spot and couldnt find anything that would lead me to a new levelthe crane map? Level change in that map doesnt seem to work sometimes as well. Quick save and quick load to fix it.
and i found a terrible bug. you know the map that didnt load before? well that happened again. so i saved the game, reloaded to that spot and loads of stuff showed around me, including the gman. i dont understand whats the problem, but when i first entered the map there were almost nothing in it. now i load it and voala, i see tons of stuff in it.That's not a bug, it's an engine error. There is no way to fix it. After 2 intro maps, all entities do not show up in xenmp. It only shows up if you quick save and quick load. Or you can just type "map xenmp".

I noclipped too. That security card didn't made any sense to me.I just played the map again to check if anything was wrong.
After the keylock door, i turned noclip off and moved on normally.

I just cut out the thinking part.Damn cheats I was also going to surround the trigger_change_level with a trigger_load for people trying to get pass the level by noclipping. So they wouldnt be able to get pass the level even if they cheated. But thought that would be a bit too harsh.

Actually, I knew that players would waste their ammo on zombies. But they should not. They are slow and player must be stationary for zombies to attack him. So they werent really a challenge. Usually players ignore zombies, (like I do but things start to be more fun if you have a crowbar)You don't need to fight the zombies and bore yourself to death. Like I mentioned above, players usually and should ignore them.

I saw in Paranoia and some other mods when you go somwhere music files(mp3) were playing and I would add mp3 in my own HL storyline.Requires coding. I think you need to code an entity into the .fgd file that plays .mp3.
The question is how to do it ? ambient_generic only can play wav files.

The Hunter (since he intoduced AudioSurf on TWHL the first) picks a song, makes it available for download, then everyone else downloads it and try to get the highest score for that song in a week time (or shorter/longer) and the person with the highest score at the end of that period gets to choose the next song and so on, and so on, and so on. We can have a public score table for each song that's been played. Statistics ftw.
