also if your using null, try taking the null texture away from the back of the messed up brush.. may work.

ahha, yep, thats the problem.. you see, when the level starts, I can't have the player move his mouse at all for the first 10 secs until the camera is triggered.

I just completed thetrain entrance to blackmesa.. hahaha, you should see what, and how I put it in.. it's like a secret entrance deal.. it's pretty cool. :D

Do a Find Entities, and filter it for Ambient_generics, then find one without a target wav, or one that has a mistyped target wav.

BAH! :x , I'm ticked off!!! You guys completely changed my map!!!.. OK, most things, like adding the stairs to the other side, and getting rid of the elevator, yes thats understandable, but why did you guys remove the blue light and laser, and spark entities from the welder!? I'm very, very upset about that guys. We cannot edit another ones map part ok! And if it is a must, then contact the creator! Don't just delete stuff like you would your own! It's the same as if I would delete half of your map Gargly, and add stuff to it, you'd be pretty ticked off as well right?.. : :D

So, in the future... contact the creator, before making changes.

Gman, map wil be sent to you in the next couple days, once I fix my part again. ;)

triggering a lift guys... listen! lol

Ok, your having the lift to go up and down, following path_corners, correct?

You'll need the flag in the path corners called Retrigger ticked first of all.

Now make a brush to cover your lift, and have a delay on it of say 5 secs. and walla :P

oh and for the doors, multi_manager

ah, I see, my way would'nt work that great anyways, come too think of it... lol, how about, Headshots, increase health, and shots anywhere else on the body decrease health.... just a thought :P

well, because the player will gain health as well meaning you'd be in some kind of chamber.

What he needs is for the monster, when shot at, gain health, instead of the opposite..

What if you where to use negative numbers in the Half-Life code?

I never tried it, I only made headshots to be a one hit kill for Barney, scientists, and hgrunts/assassins. so I made the number of damage lower... try using a negative number.. may work.
