Here's an idea, have a feature section with some works chosen from the community on display, like a showcase of the talent. Perhaps even work some screenshots of the TWHL community maps into the banner or something.

Until now. Complicated leaks are a result of sloppy mapping. Follow the lil red line until you get to the outside of the world. There's your leak. It's not that difficult. but yes, it can be tedious.

Before starting a large philosophical debate about the existence and purpose of the universe, perhaps you should work on your spelling/typing skills.

Humans know 1/∞ of the universe. We send out little metal toys jam packed with sensors in hopes of finding another species or another inhabitable planet. The universe is infinite. That's a fact. The size of the universe compared to the size of you and me is so large it would take billions upon billions of lifetimes to explore it all. It's practically impossible.

You want to know more about the universe? I suggest you purchase a large quantity of blotter tabs and give'r from there.

i like to sort out all the sequences and point based entities and stuff in a little test map before implementing them into the final product.

it may take longer to produce a small room to test things in, but it takes less time to do that rather than compiling your finished map with rad and vis and all your entities and detailed stuff.

killaz646 hacked together that spetsnaz barney, as well as The zxeno prophet, who hacked together that medic barney replacement, novarain who did the fn2000 conversion, and probably countless others

also, that render looks pretty awful.

I am familiar with the mutliple tutorials on how to make cliffs and terrain; but they all suck. The amount of monsters/players/NPC's and other models plus a detailed and nice terrain would explode my shit as well as many others.

The baby voltigores are ARACHNIDS not ANTLIONS. Notice they lack wings.

The gun in the second screenshot is the S&I displacer gun converted to an RPG by Lazermaniac.

Also, Space marines? I'm pretty sure you mean Starship Troopers, which is what this map is based off.

I'm currently working on a Starship Troopers style map for Sven Co-op. I've just had some play test with some mapping pals and despite a few minor details, they really liked it. I'm hoping for a January release.

I realize the map is really dark, and I want it that way. Currently it uses baby voltigores, shocktroopers and Gargantuas. I do need some suggestions on what other monsters to use.

I just registered, even though I've been using this site as a reference for a while. Great site. :cool:

Anyways, I just downloaded S&I v1.0, which is awesome by the way. I wanted to start a map I've been thinking about for a while, but how do I configure Hammer for a 3rd party mod on Steam. I tried with another, and it was a failure.

Can you even do it? Or do I have to install S&I to my WON folder?
