Since the sky itself is an image, it doesn't become foggy. If you need a foggy atmosphere set a different skybox or extend it.

Mess with your fog draw distances. What are they?

Right-click create object doesn't work, period - Enter is what you have to use.

Reinstallation isn't the solution for everything :/

multi_manager? This is HL2 :/

I've done some new effects in Raincheck with some extremely bright, largely scaled sprites and sound triggered with a logic_timer at random intervals. OnTimer the sprite is triggered and then the sound goes off with a delay of 1 or something.

Compound looks nice. The lighting is pretty slick. The layout, though, sucks. I can snipe about 3 people at CT spawn from T spawn, then go down and nab a couple with my pistol. I shouldn't be able to do that.

Look at the roofs at CT spawn X) - Riller forgot to add extensions on three of the shacks.

Certain servers run the tactical aspect of the game. These are the best to play on. That, or with people from IRC/clanmates.

Create a displacement map with the second tab in the texture window.

Click the 'Create' button, choose 2 or 3. If it's a huge brush, go 4.

Click 'Paint Alpha'

Raise/Lower paints the first texture, Raise To paints the second. The brush size thing adjusts how much is painted, the slider adjusts how thick the 'paint' is :P

Well, they are busy D:

New models are on the way. They're working with Turtle Rock to get most of the content done, I think. de_train is certainly awesome, I can forgive the fact there's only two for that map.

If it's 64mb vRAM, that's not going to cut it.

If it's 64mb RAM, that's way below HL2's spec as well.

I reckon that your card is 64mb, though, and that's probably why. Wait for a fix or upgrade are your options D:

Um, just define another thing in the RES for the txt file? The RES file is used when someone doesn't have a map - It tells the person what files to download. Read up on that link Seventh posted.

One could, but that tends to annoy players. The txt file will appear when the player is at the team selection screen at the start, instead.

The easiest way is going to just include that txt file and a res file.

I don't believe they're remaking all. Backalley and Assault are probably not going to get official ports and are gonna be replaced with cs_compound and the other 'new' official maps. There's a de_train on the way, though (do a texture filter for it) and there was some militia stuff in the beta's version of the GCF.

Mine uses a default lights.rad - I think that's acceptable - Lighting with entities just looks ugly in HL1.

I currently have the map. I'm not sure about any list, though, I'll wait for BL on that one.
