this happens 2 me sumtimes when i fix all the leaks in a map. strangely it works later on. an alternative 2 the cycler is the spirit ent env_bubbles.

grr. you and your boradband using FOOLS! us modemers are protected by the fact that for you, virus's are more common since they download themselves faster! with my 29k connection i am protected from viruses by the fact they take 15 hours to download!(eg, steam)

what is there 2 understand? a relatevly simple question, and jobabob throws out a load of philisophical bullplop. its a simple answer, with what jobabob called the "double negative" as a red herring. slike that question about the doors, and the guards either always tell the truth or lie. all u do is wearing earmuffs, play elton john music making the guard drop his sword as he covers his ears, then grab the sword and threaten to cut his Tonkers off if he doesnt tell you which doors the right 1. now thats philsophical thinking. :lol:

if its spirit, did u set him 2 react friendly /till provoked/until hurt? if so, theres an entity that changes the properties of an ent when triggered. this is only if ur usin spirit though.

basically the triiger push pushes u into the wall with a trigger hurt covering it. the fan is just there 4 show, 2 give a reason 2 b pushed against the wal and killed.

make a button and give it health. then when u shoot it it loses helth like a monster, when it "dies" it is pressed. the moving object only needs 2 b a train unless its like the flatbeds in "on a rail" where u control the speeds, which need quite a bit of setup. a train is simpler, so if u dont know how check the tut.

well wat u do is make each step and individual brush. a trick i found with using the same brush over again is to copy. make 1 step, copy it, paste it, copy both and paste them, copy the 4 brushes and paste them ect ect. it speeds up the buiding of multiple brushes.

(btw, my house is victorian, so it has spiral stairs ;) )

wally. go 2 the links page and it should there. make the image, then u need 2 make a WAD 2 put it in. make it then put ur texture in and save it. then load hammer and add ur wad in the texture tab in options. then it sould work. remember if u want the blue stuff round it 2 disappear then make sure the texture has { at the satrt of its name. also the blue is red 0 green 0 blue 255. but if u want text u get at the bottom of the screen like the chapter titles in the game then use env)message or game_text, game_text being the most flexible choice.

if u want spiral stairs use the arch tool. under primitives choose arch. hen when the window comes up after making the brush u should b able 2 work it. call me if u dont.

theres a block with different coloured sides at the side of the screen on the toolbar. click it the click the wall u want changed. click browse then choose the texture than click add. then adjust it. a good way 2 do that is click fit then change X to 1.00

put a brush the size & shape of the hole u want in the wall u want the hole. click the small block, right click and choose carve. now u got a hole. but b warned carving can cause real problems when u use it more. my map nihilanth is full of carving problems. making every wall and every hole urself is however, better.
