check for entities outside and put "pointfile" into the console. follow the line and it will go through the leak. also try downloading the leakfinder and setting everything up. if it works a red block will appear where the leak is.

me and vassy can b the spirit experts here. why not u make maps and we spirit em. just say what u want done with spirit and we'll fix it up. THEN u dont hav 2 get spirit, and we still get the best resutls. period.

in spirit just tick "visible" on the func_ladder and u dont need 2 brushes. course if its a mp map then dont make it in spirit.

depends what u want it 2 do. if u want it just a normal laser that fires at 1 point, say as a tripwire, get an env_laser and (what i do) get it 2 point at an info_target or any entity. then choose the colour ect. ect. then fire when triiped another entity, like what they did in "we've got hostiles". theres more tuts and example maps on lasers here u can use.

thats what happens when 4 sum reason u delete the physical form of an entity...but the spiritual form remains. click "go to" on the error screen and itll seem like the entity is everywhere. just delete it and the ghost is gone.

its called the "toggle-texture-application" tool. select the face u want changed, choose a texture from the list then click "apply". u might want 2 resize it also. what i do is click "fit" then change the X scale to 1.00. if u want more than 1 wall done hold ctrl and click all the faces, tick "treat as one" and do all the otherstuff i mentioned. treat as one is used 4 things like when u carve a door and the wall gets fragmented. also go with JB. i didnt read "in the beginning" and now i have no idea what an info_node is.

"Token to large on line 4"
This can refer to several different errors:
The "too many wads" as mentioned above. 8 wads in WC/Hammer is a good limit, more may cause this error among others. If you are using more than 8 wads you can use Wally to combine the extra wads into one custom wad.
Too long a path/name for the map or compiling tools. Only a limited amount of memory is set aside for the path/names. Solution is to move the compiling tools or map into a shallow folder.
Having a space in a path/name. Examples: frequently Program Files is part of the path name. Compiling tools do not like the space between "program" and "files". Solutions are to either use the MSDOS pathname, or to move the offending files from under the spaced folder, or put quotes " " around the whole path name in WC/Hammer so that windows uses it right. If your map has the space in its name (eg. Bob map), remove the space and change it to (Bobmap).

scientist. if ur usin a path_corner then type the name of the ent 2 trigger in the "fire on pass" thing. dunno much bout info_nodes (i skipped most of the i the beginning tuts. stupid me.) about you entering an area. i tihnk its a trigger_once or trigger_multiple. better ask the experts on that one though. and remember the last 2 ents i said r brush based.
