That tutorial doesn'say a thing about additional parameters. :( And I this if I don't want to run the game I'll need to untick the last parameter. :tired:

Everybody told me how to do something in the options but the advenced compiling mode has no options you need to add a parameter so how do I do it? :nervous: And how do I not run a map after the compile?? :

In the ambient generic's 'wav name' value chack if the directory in the pak file is written not the full one! It should look like something like this- ambience/crickets.wav NOT like this- c:gameshalf-life... ;) Also check if the extructed file(if you extucted it)has more then 0kbs in it. :tired:

I found it out when I built my first map! I tested what monsters do! So I placed a bloater and a bullsquid and the bullsquid only looked at the bloater even if I would hit him! ;)

When making terrain don't clip the squares till you make a turn! Now you can decide if you want to clip in the turns direction(creating a smooth angle) or aginst(creating a sharp angle) ;)

For a multiplayer the most importent things are low r_speeds,good weapon placement,good layout and gameplay for a singleplayer map artitecture,detail,entity work and gameplay! ;)
