the letters say Riller - the second name of Dave Riller, the level designer responsible for On a Rail. There's a good interview with him talking about HL's upcoming release in 96 or 7.

Damn Habboi, that screenshot is sexy as fuck.

And because I am playing the game, the map is l4d_glasgow4.bsp of the 28 Greggs Later campaign by User ID 1382.

]

and because I have a distinct feeling i'm right, i'll go ahead and post up.

The only clue: It's a famous remake in Source.

Well the funny thing is that despite the URL, i don't know.

I don't recognise the mapname s0a0

By the way, for future reference - the reason your image post failed was because you linked to the wiki page with the image on it, not the image itself. To find an image's actual URL, feel free to do any of the following:

logo is really bad.

And when you're taking screenshots, put your graphics settings on max. You're taking still images, so it doesn't matter if your framerate is killed.

No.
First thing you need to do when you get vista is disable User Account Control. (UAC)

Go to control panel and search UAC in the top right search bar.

Disable that, and Vista becomes SO much less annoying and can actually be considered a usable OS.

in Compiling Source Maps Without Hammer Post #262992
I believe muzz's compilator was planned to eventually support Source compiling, but i don't know if that's included yet.
Personally, I just don't touch my computer when it's compiling a map.

If you optimise a map well enough, it should never take any more than 2 hours for a decently detailed, normal sized map.

in Hammer 4 vertices glitch Post #262596
Same happens in the non-orange box hammer 4 on vista 32 and presumably on all other OS's.

I have never encountered the problem when Orange Box mapping.

You'll also notice that the same thing happens sometimes when using the skew tool (is that name right? the one between scaling and rotating with single clicking on brushes in 2D views)
It doesn't always happen either.
Sometimes it's happened to me and I've remade the brush exactly as it was, and no more problem, and sometimes i've duplicated a brush that is fine, saved and closed and found that upon opening - the duplicated object is messed up, while the original is still fine.

the first FEAR game had the most awesome AI ever
lol'd hard.

I recently got Sin: Emergence off steam. It reminded me a lot of FEAR, in that both were just the same fight over and over again, completely unvaried - continually using the same tricks against you until they are just a repetative pain.
I'm really struggling to finish Emergence out of boredom, and I have to this day never completed FEAR, despite having owned it for about a year.

There is an exceptionally small list of games I haven't finished, considering how many I play, so it truly is a mark of a bad game if I don't finish it.
I mean, i even bothered to finish Bioshock, which was just a chore after the half way mark.
