Psilous, I remember reading somewhere you lived in the US. Your spelling, however, says otherwise. Which one is wrong?

Have you changed your keyboard? Copy it and paste it in Notepad. See if it's anything you recognise as mapped to your keyboard. You might be accidentally hitting the key that generates it?

I've never seen such thing happen.

What I got:
  • A pair of blue jeans
  • A plain black t-shirt
  • A plain black tie (shame it's too wide to be Blues Brothers style)
And nothing from myself.

I don't know what this chick did, I don't remember seeing her in any films, nor seeing her sing, or seeing her anywhere. Yet I did know who she was. Odd isn't it.

I can't say I'll miss her, seeing I have never come across any of her work or her personality.

I'd try that, yes. If it's coords (shown in the status bar) are about those in the error, you've found the problematic brush. That, or try to navigate to those coords yourself...

CCleanSuitScientist seems to be an abstract class from which some other class inherits. So you might want to find that next class in the class tree. Just an idea.

in Track train help Post #276734
If it doesn't have to move at all again, you could set up a linear track (instead of a loop) where the last path_track is exactly at the same position as the first one - therefore having the train stop right where it started. Of course, you couldn't start the cycle again unless you use a trackchange or something like that.

Totally worth the mess? I don't think so. I hate both getting back to sleep on the wet spot or changing the sheets at 4am. I'm much happier when I can hold it in long enough to drop it somewhere safe.

@Striker: Do you believe you can touch the sky too? :P

Reality test: Punch your little sister. If she calls the police and that lands you behind bars, you get ass-raped and still don't get up, that's pretty f'd up because you weren't dreaming after all.

in Sleep paralysis Post #276670
On an unrelated note, I have lucid dreams very often. It usually happens when I encounter something in a dream that's so bizarre that I go "oh yeah, I'm dreaming". After I realize this I either wake up or stay asleep, with the difference that I now can control everything in the dream. It's really cool
I've occasionally had this when I was little. I remember a particular one where I was standing on the tracks and the subway was racing towards me. One day I realised it was a dream and stood there. It just passed through me like a ghost and I overcame my fear of standing in the way of a moving train :P

Now it just doesn't happen anymore. Despite sometimes knowing stuff will appear in front of me if I think about it hard enough, I just don't come to the conclusion it's a dream anymore. Therefore I can't make the most of them :(

Sorry psilous, I never knew where that track came from. It was added by C.T. as a placeholder until my actual track was done, and I never asked where he got it. It was going to be replaced anyway, but I guess he'll have to remove it now.

Also, I don't think I've even downloaded your map yet.

2. Have you never wished such a degree of entropy in a map? :P

And about the entities: I'm sure of that. I just don't know how to do it properly. Any volunteers? :)

Just compiled with full vis. It doesn't take much longer (it's still under 5 minutes), and even after combining many brush entities this still happens.

Also I've discovered some multimanager sequences don't work, which I suspect might be related to having 17 targets each (which I'll have to work around by adding even more multimanagers)

This is starting to feel like a titanic task.

Edit: I'm getting sick of multimanagers.

You can either use an off the shelf e-commerce package for that, or build it yourself. If you design everything yourself you can expect it to do exactly what you need, but that comes at the expense of (possibly) some more bugs. Although I'm sure it would be fun.

in Illuminated Keyboard Post #276309
Going with the trend, I'll comment on my keyboard too. It's a cheap Genius which came along with the computer, it has extra keys above the F keys that annoy the shit out of me. E-mail, Stop, Refresh, Back, WWW, Forward, Search, Favorites and Sleep. All of them have an undocumented second function that fucks everything up - say, "back" stops playback on WMP and "forward" mutes Windows' volume controls. Actually, the only one that works reliably, performing its stated function only, is the Sleep key which I use to shut down Windows.

Now, stop all that blabbing on cheap keyboards. Stop being pussies and get this!

Hey everyone! Disco Stu is back! Has anyone even noticed my absence at all?

I was being juiced with all the homework I got, and finals, and stuff. Now I have only one final left on 21 dec. and I can afford the time to have my room fixed if it's not too late :)
You can get the suit in the menu map, Jeff.
Can I too? Because no matter what I tried, I don't remember being able to. Gotta check the new version, though (it hasn't downloaded yet)

So, list of upcoming fixes to my room:
  • Finish the unfinished brushwork
  • Texture the (maybe unnoticed) untextured bits
  • Make a new audio track that fits the intended mood and possibly takes up less diskspace
  • Perhaps something else I'm forgetting.
Disco Stu won't let his room be released unfinished!
