Actually I took that screenshot before I noticed I was still in software mode (I found out and changed to OpenGL yesterday). Does that have an effect on texlights?
I was, but now I'm working on a different map than when I posted the thread. On that first map, I had set minimum light level to 1, that's why it appears lit. Also, the textures I'm using are custom made in my own wad. I added the ~ but I suppose it would have worked without it anyway. I have tried adding them to lights.rad and (XOR) info_texlights, but it doesn't work in either. Hence I'm posting here.
Okay, after the first, say, few hundred years, everything's still fine and well. You've seen a few generations of people live and die, and had this happen to your family. Oh well, they were likely douches you could live without anyway at some points. Companionship is companionship, or so you think.(source)
Not so fast: You know how when you were younger (by human terms, a child), an hour seemed like forever to you? As people grow, their brain starts to perceive time differently. An hour feels like less time. Now extend that logic to a year, or a decade, or a century. This means that eventually, you will be completely unable to form relationships with human beings because their lives and deaths will flash past you like a tape on fast-forward.
"Walker, of the University of South Florida, believes that if the gene can be isolated, it may provide clues to questions about why we age and die."Right the day they find that out and think of selling such a thing, I'll personally help them to die.
"My system always has been to turn years into months," Greenberg said. "So, if someone asked today, I might say, she's 16 months old."Following that rule, she'll be a bomb by the time she's 216 years old! Every old lady's dream
1. Take any point-based entity and rename it "info_texlights"I just did this and it still doesn't work.
2. use smart edit to add the name of the texture in the first field and the color/brightness in the second
3. you can add as many texlights in that same point entiy as you want. Check rooms4.rmf or rooms5.rmf, and search info_texlights if you want to see mine as example.
BUT if you forget the "-r" extension, it'll output it as a .map, then you can use the wonders of the COMPILATOR to compile your map more effiiently than you can dream.Ah, the famous Compilator. I tend to forget it. I'll have to try it.
This is turning out to be NOT fun anymoreAre you growing old?
There is no option to upload more screenshots, it says you can upload more later while submitting it, but you really can't.And here I was thinking that everyone was too lazy to upload them!

The old members of the Cunt society came to this world and quickly recognized their favorite holiday's mascot already etched into the world's land.Certainly they would have also recognised the land south of it as own...?
"Conchuda" is cunt as far as I know..."Concha" is cunt in Latin America, "conchuda" would translate to "cunty" (as in "cunty bitch") and "co?o" in Spain (where "concha" just means shell). Dare call someone Shelly now?
But I have WON, I bet everyone else is using steam HL.Not everyone!
