The batch compiler says that lighting is based on a grid projected onto world brushes and that grid is divided by the chop size. Reducing the chop size reduces the grid size making lighting look better. At least, that's what the compiler says.

And no, I would have killed somebody if the crowbar would have been on there, it is a melee weapon, PC's have to learn, don't make a separate melee weapon, it is pointless, you can still punch if you have a gun.

If they wanted a realistic game they wouldn't have made Half Life in the first place. They didn't use a crowbar for realism, they used it because its fun to hit stuff with a crowbar.

Try really using really big custom textures, preferably even 256 by 256. I don't know if this will change anything but it might.

Edit: To join appear in the roster of the TWHL studio you have to go to profile>edit>invites(on the side bar) and select "accept".

Come on everyone you know that, even though TWHL is the best community ever, you aren't getting a satisfactory number of downloads on your maps. Hell, you'd be lucky if someone hosted your map on a server if you just stick to TWHL for submissions.
