From my first thought of this issue, i had only planned for one camera angle. I simply thought it was the best way to convey the conversation, with Norman walking by in the background... I suppose there was a twinge of inspiration from a security camera, but mostly i just thought it was the best plan.

I'm really glad you all liked it ^_^

unforseen_consequences.bsp includes Rosa's bar, the oil-rigged version, the prison and several other locations that have been used in the past, or will be used in the future. I got sick of constantly changing between maps. Oh, and yes, i know that there is waaaaay too much JPG compression. My bad.

they are wadincluded.
They are in .wads, but are compressed in the .bsp during the compile process.

Add -wadinclude &lt;wadname&gt; to the compile parameters.

i never selected the rope sprite in anything. That is why i am so confused. If i had, i would know what i was dealing with, but as far as i know, nothing i have made should have anything to do with the rope sprite.

i highly reccomend Sandscroll by Kasperg,
Interior by ZombieLoffe
or Vilcabamba, again by Kasperg for single player.

For multiplayer- try out any of the cretes by Rimrook (although 1 and 3 are by far the best)

Oh, and to shamelessly pimp my own work, you might want to try 5 Worse Ways to Die .. by me :)

Damn, i suggest you look out a clan and offer to make a map for them!
I just got offered an extremely reasonable ammount of cash for one..

I just liked the members of the clan, and i fancied going back to CSS, so i offered to make a map and to pretty much directly quote :

I jokingly said an extortionate figure and

I gave up reading half-way down this page, so i dont honestly know if it's been settled, but after quickly glancing over it, i'm gonna stab at 'no, it hasn't.'

Trapt, Kasperg is a fantastic architectural level designer. You can see it in all his maps. He clearly thinks up logical, realistic locations and builds them just like that which is a rather neat skill, to say the least. Half the community 'suck his dick' because they respect him and his work. He posts screenshots, not to make sure people are always looking up to him, but simply to show people what he's recently made, like any mapper would.

Kasperg, I don't know what set you off, but your response to Ant's beginning posts was silly and hot-headed. I suggest you try some of their suggestions. Don't like 'em? Change them back. I agree with you about the lighting of Avalon. That is incredibly dull, and your map does look better with the contrast that the brightness creates. Maybe you could change the colour and/or the ambience. It could perhaps go for a dusk/dawn look... Something that goes nicely with the sand, and'll make the concrete match the coloured plaster supports a bit more. Orangey light does that :)

if its looking for the .wad, it means it was compiled with the map. Open up hammer's option, go into textures and remove it from the list
